Ok, I have a route, will take a number of hours, it is aprox 233 miles, 3 states and some great looking roads!

This will be a first for me as well, but my ride time is always limited and I have a pass.

Leaving Sat. Am after breakfast, I would like to be out of T.W.O./Dales no later than 9, and that means rolling, not I need gas or whatever.
I love yall but there is always a straggler! LOL

Heads up for the out of towners. The "loop" I believe, still sucks. The lower part of hwy 60 from T.W.O to the rock pile has massive tar snake infestation. Any one been up in the last month or so and seen if 60 has been paved yet??

Twig!!!

Good to hear from ya~ How's that hot rod you got buddy? Did you get it pieced back together?

If I remember right, you pants were more torn up than the road rash on the CBR.

So are you looking for any type/style of ride in particular. The reason I ask, I have three rides planned in a progressive manner. Day 1 will be crisp, Day 2 spirited and on the last day.... hehehe I am planning a ride that might get my Uly bags touching down, but hey their just plastic.

Micah, twas not me that went down. Not yet anyways. I should have phrased that better. I was towards the back of the pack, as usual, riding the cherry bomb xb9s. The Honda rider brushed it off very well.

At my age, I pretty much ride in a safe mode all the time. I still have fun, but not very far behind the better riders. Will be looking for you Thursday.

Something tells me that Slowride is as ready for Suches as I am! Of course, my big plan is sleeping in and hanging out on the porch at T.W.O. I might venture out and actually take a ride with M2nc this go round!

I'll be heading to the Dragon Sunday morning if anyone's interested. From there I'm going to run up and down a couple times, but then I must proceed with my journey home (away from TWO).

I'd like to say leave TWO at 8:30, but I have a strong suspision it'll be closer to 9:00.

If the weather's nice we can hit the Skyway on the way.

Just throwing my plan out there to see if anyone wants to join me.

Slowride, are you getting your routes from Road Runner magazine? They look awfully similar to their article about Helen GA.

I loved that article.

Mike
The first route is in fact the one from that article, but I found it again in the Rider mag I had.

I get both those mags and love most of the routes that lay out.

Wish you were going to be there earlier, I would love to ride with ya on the new bike.

Congrats by the way!!!

Hey folks- I am planning to head to TWO either Wednesday AM or Thursday AM. I've taken essentially the whole week off, damn the torpedoes.

Who's coming thru Maryville TN, and when? If there's a large enough pack on either of these beautiful mornings (10/1, 10/2), I might persuade my kitchen guy at the Shed to fix breffix again. Post or PM me so I can get a headcount.

At the least, I'd sure like to have one or two Buell buddies to make the ride down!

Lemme know!!

Hey Brad,

Hope someone hooks up with ya, if they can keep up they will have a great ride!

I'm totin' the trailer so as to accommodate the wife's riding program. We will be in the "cabin" (house) behind the one we stayed in for MBV.

I am planning a "scenic" ride to Helen for lunch Saturday. Likely be leaving TWO at 10:30 and will stop to view points of interest as anyone wishes.

I appreciate all the interest I received for the bike rides this coming weekend.

I have decided the best place to meet up will be T.W.O.

Meeting times
Friday 9am
Saturday 12 noon
Sunday 8:30am

I shouldn't be too hard to find. I will be on a Black Uly with bags and palmer brackets. Sporting a Buell jacket and a Grey and White Scorpion exo 1000 helmet.
I will probably put a tag on the windscreen that says Slowride so look for that as well.

Thanks again for the interest and I look forward to seeing everyone there.
