Neill... Bad news... they are a difficult group to deal with!!! They say if a 9 inch shows for my kitchen... they will work on the 42 inch for your living room... I tried to reason with them... but that was a waste of time... they say... no 9 inch... NO 42 inch!! What can I say!!! I only do what the voices tell me!!! If it was up to me... but I only have one vote... I stood up for you... but they are soooooo controlling!!!  | ||

Hey Frank!!  Rode to work today and thought "that Frank guy knows his shit!" Walked out in the rain and started the bike tonight and after a short warm up it stalled. Cycled ignition and heard the telltale sound of a dry fuel pump! I guess I should have known but the fuel light never even blinked!! I'll look into it when it's a little dryer! X1db, Hmmm...I'm gonna guess that the bulb is burned out. I never took the pump out or messed with the wiring other than unplugging the fuel pump externally. I don't have a book in front of me right at the moment, but I'm fairly certain the bulb can be replaced no prob. Let me know  | ||

Joe just found out that Mike Mullins will be at Kingman NOV.1-2.I am planning on going out for a few jumps!He may be doing high altitude jumps also. | ||

Neill, Paul... GREAT ride today... those of you that did not make it, missed a great day for riding. We did another shorter version of "Neill's Gap" to and from Lawrence. I have been working on the house... and setting up the bike shop so much I have not been able to ride. I was going through withdrawal!!! I really had the need for speed!!! The official "GPS numbers" on the ride back was 111, with Paul pulling ahead of us. A beautiful day for riding!!! Thanks Neill for suggesting the ride... the only down side was not being able to sample the product at Free State Brewery. I may be dumb... but I am not stupid... I love their beer... but not while on less than four wheels! I was surprised at one point shifting into third or fourth (I think fourth) with the front end unloading almost to the point of lifting off the ground after a shift. I LOVE MY XB9S!!!!! I am hoping for a mild winter... I have not had enough of a riding season... I hope to go all winter!! | ||

Same here Dennis, Man my bike was running really well Sunday too. Got home and no problems with header or anything else, I'm really pleased. Glad you and Neill could ride, lets do it again soon, maybe up north somewhere or N.E.!! Lets talk. | ||

So Sam... You arriving on 2 wheels... 4 wheels... or 6 wheels? (The parts of your bike in the back seat of your car... just to say you where there with your bike???) I'd go nuts (and that is a very short trip) if all my bikes were down at the same time!!!! My thought would be that the gods hate me!!! ...and I am not keeping up with you on XB modifications... but I finally ebayed the remaining yellow lower body for my 9S. It looks good on my work bench!!! maybe by this weekend I will see how it looks on the XB! | ||

Anytime your ready Sam. I have $100 for you now and then whatever the coating will cost a can have not this friday but next. If possible you think it will be done by then? I would like to get it in to Frank as soon after that friday as possible (payday!) Frank- Just a heads up I am on the final stretch of getting my bike over to you. Looks like my parts will hopefully be done soon. I have a new rear tire in my garage so I will be ready I hope after next weekend to drop her off at the shop for you! P.S. I tried calling you last night but didn't get through. I wanted to discuss a couple things with you. If there is a better time to reach you (other then business hours) let me know. Sucks I have missed out on some good riding weather lately! | ||
