Hahaha, you sure? then again, I have mellowed out quite a bit since the tiem you seen me ride...
Just cant wait to be around people that actually would rather RIDE than, sit there and stare at bikes... I mean, if we need to go stare at stuff, there are plenty of places with....much more attractive things to look at...... and cold drinks...

I'm out for this weekend...already have a ride on Saturday with some friends from work and have a ton of crap to get done around the house...

I go by both of those just about every day on the way home from work  140 Pub seems to attract a decent amount of bikes (mostly HD) and has a BBQ on Wednesday's, at Capt Bob's I've never seen more than 3 bikes at once. |

Way up here in Fitchburg Nate...
I've seen tons of bikes at Capt Bob's on their bike nites...usually on my way home from climbing at Crow Hill...haven't made it there on bike night while on my bike yet... |

It IS kinda early when I go thru there, so I might just be too early to see a decent crowd at Bob's...
Ohhh... so, THAT'S what all those guys are doing out in the woods near Crow Hill.... "climbing"

I go there with some friends after work and eat, hang out and go for a ride afterwards it's pretty laid back I'm there by 6:00. |

yeah...Crow Hill is a good sized top rope/lead rock climbing area. Also a nice spread of difficulty from almost walk up to some 5.11 climbing. Unfortunately...I haven't been once yet this year... |

The parking area for climbing is up Rte 31 just north of Rocky Pond Road and just before you get to Crow Hills Pond. |

Chase - how much of a drive are you up for? Ft Devens is already West of 495 so you are already in a lower rent area...farther from Boston...I wouldn't look further south than Shrewsbury or further east than 495...time and cost go up. I'm in Grafton (1 town south of Shrewsbury)...map says an hour...cost is low...er...Then things depend on if you want a house or condo or apartment...options abound.
Climbing - I haven't touched rock at all this year and only twice last year...but I would definitely be up for some climbing this fall Scott - if you know some good routes below 5.8... |

JP, 5.8 is about my max move on rock anyway.
I'm most comfortable with 5.7's.
I am out of practice lately too, so I would only top rope or 2nd with an experience lead (I have a friend who is one) unless it was an easy 5.6 with good pro, in which case I would have fun leading. |
