Just got back from riding, ran into a Bueller at Paradise Harley (XB9 who lives in the West Hills)nice guy...gave him the site info, hopefully someone else to ride with. : )

Put my 2nd fork set on the XB tonight, and now I've gotta fix the shift lever mount the corect way with die grinder, rather than my hack on the eve before that last aborted trackday.

Well I'm back form the dead. Got Strep, or something quite like it last week and spent a few days in bed. SICK AS A DOG. I didn't even consider riding the bike. Pissed me of good too, as I missed the splash ride and I've always wanted to do the splash ride : (

Anyhow, five days in to a 10 day course of antibiotics and I'm back to work finaly...

Working through some 24-hour bug myself. Felt like I aged 10 years in a day.

My only good news is successful forks & triples transplant, so I'm on the road again with the XB. Itchin' for that next trackday.

well, fellas -
I just sold my Buell! there's mixed emotions there for sure, but this afternoon i'm hopefully picking up a Triumph 675 Daytona. I hope you'll still let me ride with you all, even though i'm Buell-less. Swede told me once a member, always a member, so i'm hanging my hat on that one!
The guy i sold the Buell to seemed very nice, and i told him all about our PBR group, so hopefully he'll join us one of these saturday mornings. His name is Ben, so keep an eye out for him on this board...
Anyway, i'll keep you posted on my Triumph updates, and hopefully this coming saturday i'll get a chance to meet up at Gator's for a morning ride.

Swede - Have you ridden Quartzville Road? I ran up & down US20 (Sweet Home to McKenzie Junction) on Sunday, too much traffic but still a good ride. Thought about doubling back to try Quartzville, then back home via OR22.

This would be about a 6-7 hour ride. So I would guess we would be done by 2:00 - 3:00 pm if we start by 8:00 am and meetup in Stayton or Salem by 9:00 - 9:30.

Hey everyone, been lurking around Badweather for about a year now. I just picked up a '07 Blast in June from Latus. I put 1500 on it since with my longest ride out to Grays River in Washington to take some pics of the last historic covered bridge in the state. It was about 220 miles round trip.

Just looking to get out on some rides around the area while the weather is good with other Buell enthusiasts.

Welcome to the group. I am Buell Enthusiast without a Buell at the moment.

As mentioned above. There are Saturday rides from Gators. Not sure who is riding this Saturday.

This Sunday I also plan on doing a 240 -260 mile ride which I posted the other day up through Quartzville rd and NF-11 and up through Detroit/Esticada.

Unless the service dept. at Latus can figure out my oil leak (it's been an ongoing affair, and my bike has been in the shop over 4 weeks total since June) I won't be able to make it out this weekend. But you never know they might suprise me

i wont be joining for rides for a little while, family in town as of friday, wedding next saturday, and honeymoon in Maui after that, so I will look forward to rides when i get back, i know i'm already slow, imagine how awkward i will be once i have that ball and chain attatched!

From the tension screw? Left hand side of bike under the case just below the shifter. They called today and I am going in to pick it up. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm : )

Thump, my ride down south and up Quartzville rd will be on Sunday. I plan on heading out at 6:30 -7:00 am. I am meeting up with another Buell rider at 7:30-8:00 along 213 somewhere like Marquam.

Depending where you live we can meetup just about anywhere you would like between Hillsboro and Marquam.
