Not even close, the clique group can hang out & eat all they want. After all I do believe walmart sells size 18 clothes. Hmm & its just the women, is that club controlled by females & all they know how to do is eat? BTW Mrs Bads1...you & I both know how the Ukes clique machine works. Not personally other than the remark about keeping the Ukes club as a small private affair & not wanting to grow. But hey thats your perogative. If you really really want to know whats been bugging me about this whole deal i will tell you. Myself & the wife attended a meeting along with Bomber. Not a whole lot interaction between parties was going on & the whole air of a clique group was felt. my wife attempted several times to talk to a few of the women & when they found out she rode a harley their noses went sky high. The only female at the meeting that actually made an attempt to talk to her...remember my wife was new to this & knew nobody..was grape. I have all the respect for her. CJ is not part of Ukes & I kid around with her quite a bit, but we get along well & she interacts with my wife pretty well also. My wife was hoping to meet some fellow females at the club who enjoy riding. She loves to ride & would love to spend more time hanging out with some girls. Right now when we ride its usually with a group of guys. But the attitude & the unwelcome feeling she recieved has been enough to put both of us in a foul mood for quite some time. | ||

Another thing that bugs me is..why was Dana the only one from the chapter who even attempted to help with the Buell 20th gig? There was a lot of back scenes planning going on & I was at least hoping for a little more input from the local chapter. I would think supposed Buell fans would have at least tried to be a little more helpful. Hell I havent even seen my X1 in over a year & have some major issue with both Buell & Ukes service dept..yet I still did what I could. led a few rides, handled some poster money, etc. just want to know why someone else other than Dana couldnt lend a hand? | ||

I think I remember the remark you're talking about. Believe me when I tell you I'm sorry it came out that way. The problem with boards like this is the inability to determine sarcasm and humor at times. Please accept my apology. I'd like nothing more than to see our chapter continue to grow. Since accepting the office of Director, I've tried dilligently to make all visitors and new members feel welcome. I can honestly say that I genuinely 'like' the people I've met through BRAG. Let's put this bad blood behind us and move forward!  | ||

You know what Dyna I think you have a little problem with trying to determine sarcasm vs. what people say/type too. I will tell you a little something. I do not believe the girls in the club are that way ...I just ride as a passenger I don't even ride yet and all of the girls in the club are fine to me and talk and make me feel welcome. I have made friends through this club and not even a member. And it is not just because of my husband either. I participate and put myself out there and make the friends. I think maybe some people have more of a problem with you its not your wife and for someone who likes to "pot stir" and sits behind the computer to stir up problems. You live for it!! You have the problem with people messing with you. You have an issue with other things do not try to blame th club for issues you have in other areas. There are people in the club who ride harley's not just buells. This club is not controlled by a bunch of females...they have input and are allowed to add to the group. Is that wrong for women? I don't think that is a sin! Its a group effort to make a get together (involving the group). And everyone is does a wonderful job!!!!!!! Everyone should have input and you are capable of it Dyna seen it at the 20th. Don't just "stir the pot" just because you think life is so boring . You come accross to people very crass . As for the food issue, It nice to have a POTLUCK they'res not a crime for that and a get together involves food and "Pigging out". YOU make it sound like a crime. Its fun try it LOL!!! accept the apology and move on to a fresh start. | ||

Hey Uke's Club... Check out the S.E.W.E.R. thread in StormFronts. We are starting to get some interest and have a tentative meeting/ride scheduled for next weekend. Read the posts, and respond which day would be best for you. Then during the week, jot down your thoughts on the venture and bring them with you to the ride. Oh yeah, and don't forget to bring a friend regardless of brand. All we ask is that they be good safe riders and be Buell Tolerant since even Buell admits we can't keep up in the straights. LMAO | ||

You have the problem with people messing with you. I have absolutely no problem with anyone "messing" with me. But to disregard my wife because you may not like what I say is wrong. Too many folks get their panties in a bunch when I utter the phrase...BUELLS SUCK. Well if any of you had gone thru the same shit I have with their bike you would feel the same way. Even tho my bike has major problems & Ukes refuses to live up to their end of the deal..I really dont give a shit. I enjoy the people in the Brag chapters more so than the HOG ones. Usually the Brag groups are more spontaneous & ride a bit more. Just because I harp on Buells doesnt mean I dont enjoy hanging out with the folks who do like them. I really do wish my Buell experience had been better, but I cant change the past. As far as the food thing goes...I guess you also cant detect sarcasm. Ever notice how very little anything is ever posted about a ride here yet the food topic gets brought up over & over? The HOG groups center every ride around food & the idea is out there that Buell riders are actually into riding more than anything else, yet when you look at what happens the Brag groups are exactly like HOG only with smaller bikes. Im more than willing to put all this bullshit in the past & just get it done & over with. I realize that I shouldnt pick on the Ukes chapter so much & I will try better to lay off on that. But its hard when I have been making monthly payments for the last 14 months on a bike that is sitting in their shop broken because of incompetance & an attitude unwilling to accept blame. BTW....didnt see any response as to why Dana was the only one to pitch in for the 20th. | ||
