I've got the bug to do an Iron Butt this weekend. Just because. Well, just because I haven't ridden any miles this summer.

If it's a 1500-miler, it'll be on the Beemer.

If it's a 1000 Saddlesore Special, then it'll be on the Buell. Maybe call it the Nile Shriner Fez-a-thon.

i'll try to actually to make it this time on the triumph! the guy i'm buying it from let me keep it for a week to see if i liked it with no commitment (nice guy!), and i'm taking it in to a mechanic tomorrow to have a second opinion by someone who actually knows what they're doing! i don't think there's anything wrong with it since it's bone stock with only 1,800 miles on it. it's an '06 scorched yellow 675 daytona, and so far it's a really fun bike, though i'm still getting used to it after my xb.
so, if i get the blessing from the mechanic tomorrow, and the blessing from the wife on saturday, i'll see you at Gator's around 7:00 am.

Awesome new roads. Too band no one from here showed up.

Nate showed up with some fresh rubber so we took this route. I think this may be my new favorite now and will take me few tries to really get down. It also only takes 45- 60 minutes depending on pace.





I will most likely sneak out when its dryer this afternoon and try it again.
