I need the expertise of the folks on this board. I dropped my 08 Uly, it started right up, everything works except the red battery light on the dash. I checked all the fuses, pulled the front fairing off, everything looks good, no broken wires etc.
What should I look for next ??
Thanks

Are you saying that the light doesn't come on at all or it stays on? If it won't come on, is it possible the bulb is just broken from the fall? If it's staying on, have you checked to see if the alternator is actually charging anymore? Not sure why the alternator would get damaged from dropping the bike, but the filament in the bulb could break from a drop. Just a couple ideas.

The red Engine check light staying on also could mean you triggered some type of code when the bike was dropped.

By plugging into ECM SPY or VDSTS you can read the error code and then have it cleared once issue is fixed.

Thanks guys, I was mistaken, it is the oil pressure light, it does not come on when you first turn the ignition on. I have made an appt. @ Latus for them to check it out and do the 08 reflash.
Thanks again
Dennis
