I think I just went by what the book said to set your suspension, my forks are showing 3 lines. I might have set my rear spring one click stiffer than normal in case my g/f is with me. I don't think suspension is going to play a major factor in everyday street riding/wheelying. I've got it set a little stiffer on my stuntbike but I also leave the air pressure low on my tires for stability. | ||

Saw a red/black xb12r (very similar to james' old bike that was stolen) ridin towards gardner early this mornin. I was in the road construction zone so I didn't have a chance to dart across the grass median, or else I woulda tried to follow it. I might look around gardner tonite after work to maybe catch another glimpse of it. | ||

I just got off the phone with Suzi to sign up for the July 28th Track day. she said Freedom cycle still has a few discounted track day admissions for the June 23 track day at Heartland Park Topeka for those of you who want to try your hand err knee at it. I saw Drake there last time or the time before. He sure is doing good!! As a Buell is so easy to do this with, I'd sure like to see more of them there. | ||

okive tried posting this everywhere, i want to get a top triple off an r to go on my s. i dont really like how it site, and i dont have the jack to pay for cross roads... i cannot do the off set match clip ons because of my taper. are there any other bars that i can buy to get more agressive feel? i think the r top will be my best bet. sorry for posting this here , but i havnt gottten good responses in other places. so do i just go to gails and order it? what else would i need? | ||

with the clipons from the firebolt, they won't clear the windscreen/guage cluster assembly. search for it in the xboard using "search". should be several topics on that. well my bike is halfway done. got the header bolt-hole filled in with aluminum, from breaking off the stud and re-drilling it out. here's the current status, is something missing??  | ||

damn, thats looking good, i eventually want to do an r front swap as well, it looks good though. i think its funny that the same exact thing happened to our bikes so close in time. i got mine fixed about a month ago for the same exact problem. | ||

Yeah, that was kind of my point. It's cool to have a v-twin sport bike club, but limiting participation to only v-twin sport bikes is a surefire way to kill it. It also makes the organizer look like an assclown. | ||

Not really wanting to start a sh*t storm... but not able to keep my mouth shut. I hate Gails the most for busting up the best bunch of Buell riders that wanted to have the best BRAG club in the midwest. I bet if I posted this on our stolen KCMob Storm Fronts... two if not three would not have kind words. I miss the old bunch and it is a shame so many sold their Buells. I have tried to meet up with some riders here, but they are so dull. Their idea of fun is meeting at a different place every week and eating and taking ride to eat pie someplace. I said I had a Buell and would probably ride that on weekends (I commute everyday on the BMW)... I was told I should be safe and that wheelies are dangerous! I have a new 2008 BMW R1200R I bought in April. In spite of not finding a "Buell" focused dealer in Fort Worth, TX... I still want to keep the Buell and will be bringing it down when I come back next week. I am also bringing down 1995 BMW R1100R. I might sell it, but the XB9S will be kept. Anyway... drink a beer for me! I wonder if Sam still keeps MY BEER in his refrigerator in his garage? | ||

shazam.. bike looks good, I dig the white wheels. Relocating the rear caliper to the inside of the swing arm would really make the rear wheel stand out. The caliper is like a dirty mark on it. | ||

~Hugs Kandie~ Long time no see :-) It depends on how the weather holds out, if you lot get anymore major storms like earlier, I may be just out your way visiting my wife who will be working KS/IA doing Homeowners CAT insurance. I was thinking about you and Dave last MAJOR storm with all the flooding, but was swamped at my own job to even take a breath to call and make sure the shop survived and you two weren't treading water.
