Heh, well, there are a few fun things to do while you aren't at the dragstrip. I like the springs NW of G'ville better than the ones down in Ocala, and we've got some pretty decent places to eat these days, too. When were you down here? Back in the late 80's/early 90's? -Geof | ||

Geof, I was in Gainesville in 1990 and 1991. I guess I don't like the place mostly because I lived on Archer road out by the interstate... the murders that happened in the fall of 1990 happened when I was there... each murder happened a little closer to my house... the last body was found across the highway behind the grocery store I shopped at. I was living alone, 22, blonde, single and just out of college...waaaaaaaay too creepy. My job sucked too, with over 100 hours some weeks in other states (10 days on/ 14 hours a day, 3 days off, 10 days on, home)... just a major pain in the buttocks. Then in summer of 1991 I moved to Wisconsin for graduate school. Charlotte |
