CJ, The Turkey Test???? Festival is on Sat. 11th. Sorry for the mix up. A group of us is leaving Racine at 10:00 am to meet people in Burlington. Are you still interested? If anyone else is. It was good to see everyone last night. Sorry for the quick exit but if we didn't get Heather home and quick, I think she would have been frozen to the bike seat and I just wouldn't have felt right leaving her in the garage overnight. Nancy, I have no idea how you managed to find us. We weren't actually planning to head that way, but since time was getting tight, we headed off the original route and just happened to be on that road. In any case, glad we all got hooked up, I would hate for anybody to have missed the "land" sighting. | ||

The ride last night was Awesome, thanks uwgriz for leading it, I had a Blast !! I'm glad bmule found us too, not sure how that worked but it did !! I was glad we made an exit when we did cause I was freezing by then myself !! Hope newguy made it home safe without freezing ?? Thanks for all the great company and laughs guys, oh and I owe you one Jason, I still woke up this morning embarressed over that one, AND not using my indoor voice at the gas station (which by the way was a SCARY place)!! Hey Guys, I found a pic in my stack from the trip and thought I'd post as this was a real nice place and did not realize just how big Lake Michigan was.  Now that was a beautiful spot but just not as big as the pond I am next to!!!!!Next stop across this pond is the United Kingdom!!!!! You would have to have real good eyesight to see land from here too  To those planning on making the trek next year - I am offering my personal guiding services of this Majestic Island. Only request it that please give me an hours notice so I can tell the boss I'm taking two weeks off.  Take Care all and have a great weekend. Supposed to be mild here this weekend so I need to ride the bike. I have to take advantage of the weather as in January its gonna look like this!!! Thanks everybody for a great ride last night! I had soo much fun. Nancy, I'm glad that we ran into you...No idea how that happened Dana, thanks for the drinks at the bar, you rock! Newguy, did you make it home without freezing?? I hope so..CJ, next time we're out, we'll make sure to stop at that gas station, and go back to that bar.....(*inside voice*) Mr.Griz, thank you for always loving me, despite my finer moments. CJ, There is so much to do here in January, hmmmmmmm let me see, Jan 1, morning - get up shovel snow, take break shovel snow, yet move more snow again. Jan 1, evening - can't post what done here would have to go the NC-17/RRated Thread for that one. Jan 2, morning - too tired from night before to shovel snow - so back to bed - damm snow can wait and will melt eventually. Jan 3, whole day - still snow bound.............back to RRated Thread for Details. hehehehehe . . . . . . . . . . . . Turkey Testicle Festival, I can just hear the high pitched gobbles now!!! Thats just too funny!!!!!! I'd stay from the meat!!!! If I only lived in Ontario - I'd be over your way every 2nd week or so!!!!Seeing I got at least three places to stay, 4 if I want to share a dog bed. | ||

Hey guys, thanks for a great ride last night. glad to have made it up there in time. Anyone want to go riding tomarow, the weather is supposed to be GR8; a high of 77, and all the fall colors are at their peak! bummer part is I'm supposed to work all weekend. I'll try to bail asap saturday if possible like 11:00 am or so. anyone interested please post by 10 am and I'll get back to you (NOTE: No turkey violation here just ridin!) Rocketsprink, I have a 03 XB9S. Mine did/dose the same thing. I told the mech. at ukes about it... he looked confused and scratched his head. Thats as far as we got. I have noticed a pattern though it usually seems to happen when I re-start the bike while it is still warm. I am pretty sure it is normal. Being naturally parinoid I turned my ear to Kates XB and it seems to do it too. I'm just about to crack 5000 miles and my bike seems fine. if ya hear different from someone else please let me know. Newfi, Seems like our riding season is just like yours. The only difference is you guys get ENOUGH snow to actually do something with it (i.e. Snowmobieling... which is another form of fun riding.) we just get enough to p!$$ us off and keep our Beuls locked away in the garage for 6 months. concider your abundance of snow a blessing. | ||

newguy, j & I MIGHT be able to break away later this afternoon....I would lovvvve to get a last ride in. We'll have to get a babysitter, though, so don't wait up.
