Hi, was sitting here, missing my bike. First off Spike, I hope Janis is doing well, he is a nice guy, and tell Sarah I am praying for him and the family.

Any way got a email from NBC about the new Knight Rider Series(part of universal studios stuff) as they are making some announcement about the new series starting this fall. I was watching the video and there are 3 motorcycles 1 of which drives up a ramp into the back of a Semi. I rewound the video and there it was a 1125R is the bike, with what appears to be a couple of HD's. I miss riding so much, first time in years I haven't had a bike. Take care and ride safe, Larry.

See recent pics .... Carolina Motorsports Park, then click on n77. There's some shots from my first race weekend.

Larry, come on down to my place sometime we'll go for a ride. I've got a spare bike at the moment. The trick is catching me at home. After this weekend I should be around more.

MMMM Oranges and Bananas!!!! Have the shirt framed Mike!!

Larry, Take Mike up on his offer, we can make a weekend of it.

Spike prayers that everything went ok.

Brankin I believe they could work the majic. Afterall, somebody from the mothershipsaid that the 1125 line would follow that of the XB line up, and this is naturally the next step! Now would it be a logical engine, for a pure off-road bike, no! For a 90% street, and 10% fireroad, why not? Course the riders who get them may do vice versa. The Italianshave made a good run at it, and with the recent acquisition by HD, I believe the sky is the limit. I predict big things to come outta that one.

U4 and Rubberdown, great talking to 'yall yesterday. If you both can drive up here the 9th, or 10th, that would work out great. Please help us get some "stuff" out of the basement! I know you will be pleased with the wear and condition. The 23rd or 24th will also work.

Jerry Haughton, Patty and I lucked out and have a cabin at the Lonesome Pine for Aug.30 and 31. #4... Somebody canceled and we got lucky! Twas only one available. Hopefully we can meet up.

Well the 'Wife' is part Twig and part Froggy now. As I slowly but surely wipe off the Dragon bite marks off the Uly, today I ended up replacing the dented muffler. When I was up in Virginia for the Unignorant ride, the front muffler clamp broke and we spent a considerable amount of time figuring out a fix. Well the plumbers tape held up pretty well, but it would not stay tight and I knew it was just a matter of time before the loose muffler would damage something. So I thought (here I go thinking again!) that it would be a quick swap from the plumber's tape to the front muffler bracket Twig was so nice to send me. Kristi and I were able to dispense the kids so we were going to ride up to Ray Price to me some of the folks up there. I got up this morning and washed the bike and started to replace the muffler bracket when I noticed it was a bit more involved than I had hoped. Pretty soon I was at the point of no return with Kristi not happy that we were so delayed from our little ride. I could not get the front muffler bracket on with the dented muffler and fearing if I did it would just break again I pulled out the muffler Froggy gave me from his Uly that I was waiting till I could have it powder coated. Replaced the muffler, mounted the brackets and one more Dragon bite mark removed from the Uly. SO now the 'wife' is part Froggy and Twig. Thanks guys!

m2nc,y'all didn't miss a thing I did see one black Uly and one custom chopper mutant Buell. It was hot and we didn't stay long .Didn't see any one we knew either.I was on the Blast and Ray Price was as far as I wanted to ride the darn thing. we hit a little rain in Smithfield. My Uly isn't finished, they do have it back together but it is still awaiting parts.Go figure. It is sad that Bad-Web'ers can get Buell parts faster than the dealers can.
Later all, Webe

A big thank you to Twig and Froggy for your generosity. You guys are great!

CB750 were used in the original choppers. Very cool!

Man, 135 degrees, and we complained it was hot yesterday, 92 degrees.

As for the grass, it grows fine in September.

I'd of never guessed that

Well my Sunny disposition has returned. The girls were still at friends or grandparents...time to place Luke for a few hours. I called the other grandparents as asked if they needed some "Luke time". They said sure, so we dropped the boy off and headed out. Didn't care where, wanted quick and cheap for lunch and told the Puerto Rican he couldn't talk to me until lunch! Gotta have MY time.

It was a good afternoon. Carlos hit one turn that spooked me. He said I rode that one the best, go figure!

you think we might be able to get the women folk on the uly's all the way to fancy gap?

Not this wife. However, if you get your wife to Grifton, she can ride in the truck with me to Fancy Gap. We'll slab it while you guys take the scenic route and we'll beat you there!

PODIUM!

Incredible weekend of racing at Roebling Road Raceway. Raced one 20 lap (approx. 40 mile) race on Saturday and three 8 lap sprint races on Sunday. Lots of exciting wheel to wheel battles in the 600's. Lots of time spent between 10 and 15,500 rpm, melted tires, melted kneepucks, ... OMG .... more please!!!
