Since her foot will still be mending she is thinking of coming down Fri hangin out at the park with me. I have not heard of any rides planned for that day. We are going to be doing the same this year for dinners Friday and Saturday. Sub Sanwiches at the park Fri and sit down dinner at the Oak Tree (name?) on Saturday. Is that okay with everyone? I will order the subs and bring water, pop, and chips. BYOB. I will need a head count to maybe make resv for dinner Sat night. She's not getting enough seat time to be ready to ride that far this year. The two of us together on the S2 will be hanging with ya, though. Getting really stoked for SPLASH. Always good to see old friends and meet new ones. Of course, an old man on a little ol scooter will expect to be playing Sweep. Still trying to talk Mary into joining us. Chances are slim, but, who knows? She has ridden the back of the MP3 which is more than I can say for my last seven bikes. She just thinks it is boring, however. I guess I would say the same riding bitchh. | ||

Anybody interested in Splash 2008 t-shirts? For about $16 each depending on how many. I was thinking of a photo of mating banana slugs from the great northwest with: "HECK'S ANGELS" across the top and "WILD SLUGS" along the bottom. And a SPLASH 2008 on the front. | ||

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a nice 4th of July!! We stayed here and watched the fireworks from the yard. Our neighbors go absolutly crazy! Good times. So if you don't have your reservations made...get'er done. 360-225-8240 ask for Jerry and mention SPLASH. FunJimmy, Jerry (at the Lakeside) told me to tell you he would miss you this year. He was saving this one room for you! He was worried that he had missed your call and so he was saving you the room just in case. I told him that you will return next year. Loni | ||

Hmmm...the fire at Mt Adams is near Troutlake and Glenwood. May be dodging fire trucks! Per the Forest Service, Forest Roads 8040 accessing the trailhead has been temporarily closed. Forest Roads 23, 80 and 82 are also closed at the Forest Boundary north of Trout Lake. (Message edited by greeneric on July 14, 2008) |
