BTW - we have one opening in the cabins for Buelltoberfest. If anyone is interested or knows someone who might like to join us who may not read C3, please let me know.

NEW BUELL OWNER HERE

Greetings C3 riders!

So this is my first post although I've been trolling BadWeb and Buelletin Board for months now doing research. I bought an '04 XB12r Thursday and I live in West Raleigh off of Chapel Hill Rd. Jlnance, I believe from previous posts that I live near you, correct?

Although I have some riding experience it's been awhile. Therefore, as a promise to my wife I'm taking the MSF course 8/22-24 and will not ride "Blaze" until then (yes, I've already named her). 8/22 seems like FOREVER from now and riding in the back yard is NO fun, but I guess that does not stop me from making mods (I've already added frame pucks). Hope to meet you all soon.

Yes, Chapel Hill Rd is what Hillsborough becomes as you go towards I-40/Cary.

I'm taking the class at Johnston Comm. College. I wanted to take it at Wake Tech, but I would have had to wait until Mid Sept at the earliest. I passed the written test Monday to get my learners permit.

hey shadyplace20, im still pretty new to c3 as well and every 1 here has been extremly helpfull with any thing i can think of , im stationed in iraq right now and have just had a brand new uly delivered to my house , i havent even sat on it yet, not my first street bike though, ive had a yamahh radien 600, a yamaha v-max 1200 , a honda v45 magna 750 and a lil bitty honda rebel 250 , and even though i havent seen the uly yet i have a feeling it is going to be my favorite, if not the most anticipated, my point is i had told pretty much every one here that and they were all very accepting , not like a bunch of the harley riders out there that frown upon jap crap and those who ride japanese bikes , not the case at all here , just a good bunch of like minded folks that just plain love to ride, as far as sept... goes ill be home for r&r for 18 days, if your up to it im trying to cordinate a good 3 or 4 hundred mile ride for a friday or saturday what ever we all agree on , and i live in jacksonville , maybe an hour and a half ride from you and jd110033 so maybe we can all get togather and ride the coast, or the mountains , although i am leaning towards fancy gap just due to the pics that were posted in here last week and what every one has told me , it beautiful country and i wanna see all of it on a bike, ok im writing another novel here so im outta here , latter yall

hey jd, you dont wanna come here , its hot ,dry , no beer , no women, nowhere to ride, and the chow sux, , but the funny part is i like it better here than baumholder, germany , thats where we were stationed b 4 we came to the sand box. any way i dont know the exact dates ill be there but i should find out around the middle of august and well go from there, as far as the distance goes , how close are you to exit 303, jones sausage rd?, i could mmet you guys around there, theres a exxon station just of I40 and i can make that no problem , but well plan all that latter, just an idea, latter yall and welcome to badweb!

yea i guess the commaradie is one of the best things about the army, 44bravo here [metal worker and welder] but im working as a detainee operations specialist in a s2 shop, after a hearing test proved my hearing was degrading too rapidly being in the motor pool so i was sent to the 2 shop for the det ops job , not too bad but kinda boring , but yea well work out the details latter, thanx for your service as well , how long were you in ? i got a 4 year contract and 21 months left, it wont be over soon enuf either aight man im outtie
