Thanks to all the wonderful folks in Portland, Oregon for the gifts that you sent to Erik and I. His stuff will be on the way to him tomorrow but I wanted to, on behalf of both of us, offer up a big thank you.
Portland, particularly now that I have a son living there (I hold you guys/gals partially responsible for the "Nude Bike Ride" he went on last week), has always held a special place in my heart.
Portland, from the time I stole the first S-1 to bring there and display (remind me to tell you THAT story sometime) has always been a favorite. I made a number of trips to the "City of Roses" and each and met nothing but wonderful folks each time.
Portland (you may have noticed that Trek makes two versions named after cities, a SoHo and a Portland) is a fascinating and unique town.
Thanks again for your kindness and for the fabulous job you folks have done representing Buell.

Dear God, is your son Zoo Bombing??? Please say it ain't so, having the dangly bits exposed near a chain and sprocket... I shudder to think.
Hope the fit is nice... We attempted to get the inaugural members to sign, (including one K Dreer as it were) The card is good for life, and an extension of a lasting invite to join us at any time and in any place! |
