Here and counting down. Rode a 1125r saturday from Buell demo truck. Kept our speeds so low all I can say is it is smoother & shifts a LOT better. Jon | ||

i just demoed an 1125r last friday at my local dealership. let me tell you it was not your normal demo. i know them there pretty well. so i was taken on the extra special demo. we left the dealer after the first turn we made it was on... the lead rider took off so i pegged it i hit second gear and lofted the front tire for a good 100 ft. that bike is a rocket we were hitting speeds of 97mph and up. it is so smooth in everything it does if they had it in an s model i would probably left with one. my only complaint is by the end of the 20 min. ride my left leg was starting to cook... but if thats the only prob i could find then there really isn't anything to bitch about... i left with a huge case of permagrin. | ||

When I demoed a xb12 at my local dealer way back when my ride was like yours, wheelies, tripple digits, the whole works. A lot of fun. Put down my $$ after that ride. This was nothing like that. I don't doubt the 1125 is a wonderfull bike that I would love to own but could not make any decisions to buy from that ride. No $$ to spend anyway, happy with mine for now. Watching the calander & counting down. Looking to refill my Permagrin prescription. Jon | ||

Mark, do you have to pay for them to bring the demo truck? that would be great to get one in there and run demo's all day sat. it would really attract a lot more peeps to our little shindig. Jon, i agree i don't really have the money for a new bike either. when i got on my bike to ride home i realized how much i still love it. i don't think i will ever get rid of it. i just might have to add more to the collection.  | ||

When the guy from the demo truck gave his safty speech he stated that we should thank the dealer as they payed to bring them here & for the party being put on. Dealership had a few bands & a co selling refreshments. Jon | ||

My nephew is going to come see me race on the 31st. He has been bit by the bike bug and seeing a race will really get him fired up. I hope there is a 80cc or 100cc in his near future..... something fun for "herding" the horses | ||

May 31st is the 2nd race of the season. I'll be there and so should a handful of other push rod racers. Its a ton-o-fun for a Saturday and Sunday. Racing starts a little after noon. Hope to see you at the WVsc Buell Rally! | ||

Mark, i think i have another bueller to join us. i finally met a local bueller. yep thats right. there are 3 of us in my area now. 2 of which is my girlfriend and i. but we are growing. i am also trying to talk him in to riding up to homecoming with us. | ||
