Just picked up a 00' millennium edition last weekend. The person I bought it from owned it for a year and had never driven or even registered it, so he has no idea what, if any, recalls have been done.

I called the person who sold it to him, but he bought the bike with 2,000 on the clock and most of the mods already done so he couldn't tell me anything other than he hadn't had any recalls done.

I'd like to have the vin run and have any recalls done that haven't been done already. I've read that some/lots of dealers give a hard time about doing recalls on bikes this old and I'd like to avoid a fight if at all possible.

Thanks for the help.

I'd check with Danbury HD Buell first. They are Buell friendly and may be able to help. Precision HD Buell is a sponsor here and may be able to help as well.

May want to try Sheldon's in Auburn as well. They have been good to me. however they are a bit biased. But Chris the service manager is a really cool guy, id call and ask for him.

Danbury is pretty far (about 1.5-2 hr), sheldons is about the same and Precision is even farther. I'll have to try calling gengras in east hartford and if they give me trouble then I'll try danbury or sheldon's.

Hey there Turbo, there USED to be a dealer in Sringfield, been 10 years, so I dont remember the name now...

Enfield huh? Hmmm, I will be back in Monson(north of Stafford/Conn state line on 32).

Anyway, I can recommend Sheldons as well...

It would be a quick shot up 84, to 20, or the pike... and a few more minutes...

That's funny...I can't recommend Sheldon's for anything, unless you want them to not actually place 'special orders' (anything Buell) that they DO take your money for, and then ordering/selling you wrong parts because they don't care about Buells...

(sorry Erik...just got screwed too many times by them)
