Anyone want to ride? I can meetup in the morning and then by 11:00 I need to head over to lead a sportbike group ride. Which will also consist of one new XB9R rider. You are all welcome to come along. I figured I would take them over some of back roads here on the west side.
The 11:00 meet is at Jack in the box across from Moto Corsa. But a Gators meet for breakfast would be nice to start our Buell group with before joining up with the other group. |

New to Portland, just got a Lightning. Been riding for a while. Would like to meet you guys sometime. My wife also rides. Any other women who ride with you? Also, how long are the rides on Saturdays usually

Adam,
Starting May 17th we meet at 7:00 am at Gators for Breakfast with rides leaving at 8:00 am. They will generally last about 4 hours depending on if we have a pre-planned route or not. Everyone does not always stay for the whole ride depending on other obligations and others just stay for breakfast.
Currently we are meeting at 8:00 am if it's not raining. With the colder weather there are generally only a couple that show up ans th rides very on weather conditions.
There are three other women Buell rides on here but only two have gone on rides sos far. Yellowtuber's wife rides a XB12Scg and XBabuser (Julie) also has a XB12Scg.
Check out our other threads for some up coming events for meeting the group. until it is warmer i am afraid that our Saturday groups are small and sometimes no one shows up. Once summer warmer weather hits we generally have 6 or so in the riding group.
Location of our meets unless we specify an alternate location for a particular ride is Gators Pub and Eatery on 99W between 217 and I5.

Sounds great. Don't think I can make it this weekend, but I'll definitely take some rides. Wife doesn't own a Buell, she rides a Ninja. I assume that is not a problem. |

No worries. I sometimes take my FZ1. We also have some Ducati, Honda and Ninja guys join up every once in a while.
This group is open to all. the main thing is to get out and ride. |

Well since I have not seen any interest for an early bird meet. I will skip breakfast. Instead I will head out from my House at approx 9:45 to head over to Jack in the box across form Moto Corsa.

Anyone interested in a ride that is starting at 11:00 is welcome to join me. It should be a nice sunny day. I am expecting about 6 sportbike guys and one other Buell rider to show up. Plan is to be done around 3:00
There should be no excuses of it being too early or cold this time.
This will be my first time meeting these guys. I am the assistant organizer for this ride group and will be leading this ride. Since our showings are small at times I am hoping of possibly combining the two rides every other Saturday or so to get a larger group together of Buell riders and mixed bikes for some of the longer planned rides. |

so no go on a meeting at Gator's tomorrow at 8:00? i'd be up for it and do a similar ride like last weeks, but i'll let you decide since you've got other plans and nobody else seems interested. it looks like the weather is gonna be decent tomorrow, so if it's not raining or wet in the am i'd be happy to meet whomever at Gator's for breakfast and a ride. i think we can even finish that ride before 11:00 if get going at a decent time. anyone else interested? anyone? swede?

Depends if any of you guys will join me.
I have to pick my daughter up from her sleep over around 9:00. If you guys want to meet me in Hillsboro sometime around 9:30 - 10:00 you can head over with me.

Wish I could go! However, I'll be painting the new store all day. I also have to move tool boxes from the shop I used to work at to my shop. Tomorrow looks like an even better day weather wise anyway. I may have to take a break from store prep and do a little riding.
If anyone is bored and just needs something to do, I might be able to find an extra paint brush. Just kidding. Hope everyone gets in some good riding this weekend and hopefully I can join you all again soon. |

No. This is a brand new bike group that was just started up and I some how became assistant organizer for.
It's called
PDX-COUV Sport Bike Team with 11 current members. |

The one Buell that RVSP never showed up. Kinda of a bummer.
I also half expected to see Mark in the group that was behind me in the pic. It was mostly BMW's. |
