Any local pittsburgh buell riders around? old or new doesnt matter, just want to ride with somebody that has a buell and likes to converse about buell superiority. i see an black tuber about twice a week, but havent been able to track him down, he wears a chrome german helmet. judging by the fly screen it looks to be an m or s model-single gauge.

Hey Scott, Cranberry here. I also just ran into a guy who rides a black/amber 12R. That makes 3 back/amber 12R's in town. I know there are a few more tubers and XBs around. Let's get something going guys!

I am located right in the middle of pittsburgh. I can hear the football games in my back yard. so all the quaker steak bike nights are equal distance from my place. except for the sharon lube night. but anybody up for puttin a buell pack together just let me know your interest and we will meet somewhere! get some real thunder together!

I'm a regular at Lube bike nites in Cranberry. They generally suck compared to the others, but it's 5 miles v/s 60 miles to any of the others.

BTW, I ride all winter, so just let me know!

Hey, just found this section. I live in Fombell which is about 20 minutes from Cranberry. I made about 30% of the Lube bike nights. Buells are usually rarer than Ducati's.

I ride a Black and Amber 2005 XB12Scg. I do not usually ride thru the winter but I'm always up for talking about bikes. Its going to be a long winter. I'm already counting the days to the Cleveland bike show to sit on the 1125R.

Anyway, I'm always up for meeting any WPA Bueller's.

We'll be in Cleveland too. Not much to look forward to until then. We generally do breakfast rides on the weekends if the roads are dry and clear, and I still ride to work when I can.

Just picked up the newest Cycle Source at New Castle Buell today. VERY few activities listed.

Most of our winter rides are spur of the moment anyway, but you never know...

I plan on going to the Cleveland IMS on Friday for opening day. This has worked well the last two years. This beats the crowd. I'll wear my Buell hoody from New Castle HD/Buell if anyone wants to meet up.

Wile, I have worked at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel many times and know the Steubinville area. I like to ride RT30 (PA) to Chester and have a friend in Robinson with a Victory. Do you ever go to Dee Jay's for ribs? Maybe we can have a Buell BS night over the winter.

Gets crazy up there though. Gotta go early. I'll be at the bike show in Cleveland too. Havent figured out when though.

Matt,

I work for ECI. We are having an after Christmas party at Dee Jays on 1/23/08. Things usually start around 4:00pm.

We can talk about Buells instead of work.

Thanks Dano. The Res Ride is a fun ride and looks to be even better this year.

If anyone is lookin' to spend Friday night, let me know and I'll get hold of Ekass to set up a block of rooms at the local Holiday Inn Express.

Kuuud, what's your travel time frame/arrangements to Homecoming? XB9er and myself will be going. Not sure on actual departure date, but we have reservations at the host hotel July 2-6.

Trip home, I figured we'd leave Sunday after events are finished and run to the east side of Chicago (or farther depending on time) spend the night and finish off the run home on Monday.

Not sure yet. G/f and I are booked at host hotel July 2-6 also. We stayed til Sunday afternoon last year to see the 1125R and then drove straight home (bikes in van).

2 years ago we rode. (2up on the Uly) Straight out in one day and back in 2 (with Mr. & Mrs. Snub13).

We're aren't yet sure of our route. We may ride to Lima to see the dirt track and stay there one night (Saturday the 28th, I think) on the way out. G/f will be on her Lightning this year.

If we start our trip that early, we may even get adventurous and go up thru MI and come down thru WI. Either way, we don't want to go thru Chicago again. The ferry was fun, so that's also a possibility.

I'm thinking that no matter what else, we will probably leave Sunday a.m. at the latest, to make it home Sunday eve.

Let's keep in touch either way.

Hi all, sorry I haven't posted in a long time....work sucks!

Anyway, Monroeville here.

Unable to make Homecoming this year, a real bummer! We had a great time in '06 with Kuuud and his sig. other. Had plans to go (we were going to go in from the North side of the lakes) but we had to rearrange things.

Does this weather suck or what...holly crap! I haven't had a chance to ride for I don't know how long.

Have you guys stopped by steelcityriders.com

Good group of guys.

I'll try to post more!

Tim

Hey Tim...hope all is well on your side of town.

Our itinerary is still up in the air. @ years ago we left PGH at 0600 and got to manitowoc around 2pm for the fairy across Lake Mich. That didn't leave us any time for error however.

We are also flexible in case anyone else wants to hook up for the ride out.

It still looks like we will leave sometime on the 5th for the ride home, but again we can be flexible.

It looks like I'll be riding the Uly, G/F will be on her 9S and son on his Blast! I'm trying to convince him to ride my 'bolt, but he wants to take his own bike. I know the Blast will run easily at 70 but if the truckers are all running 80, I won't want to go that slow (70)...we'll see...
