Hey Bomber, Yeah I was headed down 94 to get there, but my bike has been spewing oil and about 7 mile road exit I looked down and it was puking everywhere (damn rocker box) !!! So I had to turn back, got home and called Hal's close to tears about it, and the girl on the phone was so nice, said bring it over they're busy running around and she couldn't get anyone to stop and talk to her to see if I could leave it overnite. So she told me to bring it out and look "sad" and she couldn't promise they'd take it in but I did and they did !!! So my bike is sitting at Hal's and I still haven't heard from them and it's making me CRAZY !! Two years I've been here in Wisconsin looking forward to this week, and it just makes me sick to be bikeless !!! So I rode bitch last night, and have a friend who rides and she's said I could ride with her husband tonight to the HOG rally if I don't get my bike by then, so I may be riding bitch again damn it all to hell !!!! I guess it could be worse, I could have no friends. But I'll be at the next meeting for sure !! Dana get in touch with me about the posters please, and Grape thanks so much for calling me to make sure I was okay !!! Bomber, sorry for the lame route last night. Didn't have much time to get to the more interesting stuff and still be back to pick up the others. At least we got a ride in, though. Just wish it could have been a better one... CJ, I hope your bike gets better soon. | ||

ALso, tell Heather she doesn't need to check her 6 every time we get to twisties . . . .I always leave lots of room for folks to maneuver (specially if I've not ridden a lot with them) . . . . her neck musta been sore from twisting around lookin for me! I'll pass the message along. And if she's going to turn around to look back, I might just take the mirrors off if they're not being used. The wind resistance of those things is probably enough to slow down a Blast.  CJ, what Bomber said. We'd do just about anything to make it stop. | ||

Hal's was great, the girl on the phone with me was a nice as she could be, the guy who took my bike was very nice as well, and they got it done pretty quick considering what's going on there !! Then when I picked it up the girl at the register and guy who brought the bike out were all very nice too !! You know if I was working through what they are right now, I'd be soooo grouchy, so I'm really impressed !!! The other dealer I spoke with on the phone acted like they didn't have time to listen to me, and the one I took it too acted like I didn't exist, so Hal's gets my vote !!!! CJM | ||

Hey CJ, Glad your up and running again. Missed ya on Tues. But glad you didn't get stranded anywhere. We'll get that laminated one of these days before it wears off. We should try and get together sometime these next few days if possible. Or a group. I'd like to check out the Milw. scene. I'm trying to get tomorrow off from work.
