Yamaha/NESBA Sportbike Demo Program

Yamaha Motor Corporation and Northeast Sportbike Association (NESBA) have teamed up to develop a Sportbike Demo Program. This program is designed to give prospective customers a chance to test ride the top sport bikes in the market and give participating dealers an edge over the competition. The demo rides will be held in conjunction with select NESBA track day events (see schedule below).

Who is eligible?
Any motorcycle licensed prospective customer who visits a participating Yamaha dealership.

What motorcycles are being used?
We will have the YZF-R6, YZF-R6S, YZF-R1, FZ1 and FZ6

Where will the demos be held?
We will be at the following tracks in 2008, with plans to expand in 2009: Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, Ala.; Road Atlanta, Braselton, Ga.; Virginia Int’l Raceway, Alton, Va.; Roebling Road, Bloomingdale, Ga.; Summit Point Raceway, Summit Point, WV; New Jersey Motorsports Park, Millville, NJ.

How do I sign up a potential customer?
All you or the customer need to do is call 1.877.AT.NESBA (877.286.3722), minimum two weeks prior to desired demo date, with the following information (space is limited):
1. Name, address, phone and e-mail
2. Date from above
3. Motorcycle they would like to test ride
4. Motorcycle driver license number

How much time will I get on the bike?
Each rider will get 15 minutes on the track. We will run four 15-minute sessions during the normal track day lunch break.

What does a customer need?
1. Rider Requirements:
a) Snell/Dot-approved helmet
b) Motorcycle license
c) Boots, gloves and full leathers. Loaners are available on a first-come, first-served basis and size permitting.
d) To arrive at trackside by 11:00 am to attend the required Rider/Track Familiarization Meeting and gear safety inspection.
e) Sign a waiver release and hold harmless agreement.
