Well, for the 2nd year in a row, Jon's Basketball team had to swallow the bitter taste of defeat in their Conference Championship game. On the plus side, Jon had, what was voted by the parents in the stands, the best shot of the game for his team. A nice pick and roll spin move to a finger roll lay up. I'm very proud of him and his team!  | ||

Well I'm back in the snow after a long time. I just picked up a Artic Cat ZRT 800 triple cylinder. Its frigg'n fast. This is my weekend off so I'm gonna play. Tom you still have sleds??? | ||

OK. I'm going to try this one more time. Then I give up. I know we're all busy people. Who isn't? Some of us have added new members to our families. Some of us have decided to advance our careers. Some of us travel a lot for work. Some of us race. We all work whether it be for some one else, ourselves, at home, etc. But I know one thing that has happened to a lot of us. We don't ride as much as we used to. Sure, demands from our lives interfere with our personal time. That's just part of life. Have to put food on the table, so to speak. However, this winter weather has me going insane. Seriously. My God, I almost got in a full on drag out fist fight at a Home Depot. Right in front of Jon. I think every swear word under the sun and a few I made up, came out of my mouth. I apologized to Jon a million times. Although it was the other guys fault, I told Jon that isn't the way mature people should act. There's a time to stand and fight and a time to just walk away from an idiot. I made the wrong choice. The only thing holding me back from breaking the guys face was the fear of going to jail. The thing that should have held me back was the fact my Son is standing there, and I'm setting a very poor example. So I have made a choice. I need to settle the Italian/Irish temper down. WAY DOWN. The way I've decided to do that is enjoy life more. Not to worry about things and people I can't control. Spend more time with Family and Friends. I consider ALL of you great friends. The one thing I miss is riding with you all. The Club thing was OK, but hanging and riding was the reason I joined Uke's/Belle City. Again, I know we are all busy people. However, life isn't all about work. It's about having fun and enjoying yourself. Work to live, don't live to work. We are taking a trip to the Dell's at the end of this month with the Bower's. I'm taking off the week of Homecoming. I'm taking 2 full weeks off at Christmas to be with my family in Arizona. Deal's Gap is great. And I will return there again. But being that it's a 10-12 hour trip just to get there, it doesn't lend itself to a nice 4 day weekend trip. So my plan is to do a long weekend trip to the U.P of Michigan. We,re hoping to get a toy hauler this spring/early summer. Very nice camp grounds up there. From rustic to full hook up sites with showers and cable TV. Anyone interested? Most of us have kids. I want this to be a kid friendly trip. I plan on finding a campground on a lake or with a swimming pool and other kid activities. Tents, toy haulers, etc. Ride up. Hauler your bikes up. I can put people's gear in the toy hauler and bring it up if you plan on riding up. We can use the toy hauler as base camp, so to speak. Bring kids. Don't bring kids. Rides in the UP are awesome. I know some very nice twisty roads. Awesome scenery. It really is a great time. Awesome fishing (I know my wadders and fly fishing gear is coming along). Camp fires at night. Tons of shooting stars. Just a great place to relax and ride some great roads. So if anyone is interested, let me know. Remember. You only live once. Enjoy it while you can. I know I will. But it would be nice to have you come along. That's it. I'm done. We're in. Toni says "YES YES YES!" And we could rent Toni's Grandmas house to stay in, with garage and everything. It's in Iron Mountain. Just another option if ya'll want it. But we're in! Thomas is just about all equipped for a ride now. Picked him up a jacket at IMS. Full armor complement and all!  Just need to get him a new Fulmer helmet that has ear pockets so I can install the autocom headset in it. | ||

Rocco, You and I have talked about this till we're blue in the face. I wish it would change but its been a long time and I don't see it getting better. As I told you before..... slowly my bike is losing appeal to me. I love it to death but riding is not the same. I got out on my sled today and rode with my Nephew,Niece,two friends from the Waterford area,and my Nieces Boyfriend. It really felt good to be riding with them after all this time not owning a sled.Kinda like it did some time back with all here. Last year I put next to nothing for miles on my bike. I put a couple hundred on my sled today. Hell I just may buy a new sled next year and sell the bike mid Summer...we'll see.     | ||

Damn now rain. We're suppose to get more snow though. Coolice,Actually I'm part of a family that we have snowmobiled before I was born. I love it and in some ways more then bikes. I've always felt that way thats been no secret. I'm thinking of returning to it because I'm having so much enjoyment. I only quit because of time back when I went self employed and family obligations. | ||

Hope all are well, the dells are great took the kids to the Kalahari with some of their friends rented a suite great place to go and ordered in room service. Have fun I have reserved another room to do it again this spring. Dana I know will be doing a lot of the homecoming thing..me maybe a day or two? Donno with the holiday and Tristan's bday going on..that takes priority over everything else. Been toying around about the Indianapolis thing would love to go since I got a taste of GP racing last year, but I am really considering a family trip to Phoenix in July for my Graduation..unless I choose to do it for my MSN instead? Yep you are right though Rocco, we all have changed and have moved on found other things and have lost touch too bad..you all used to be great friends at one time. Unfortunatly, I gave up long ago on trying to fix things. | ||

Rocco,my effort was done and gone so long ago. Three years to be exact. Things were said,things were done,I don't care about making any ammends. I tolerate thats what I have done. I didn't ruin this club or friendship's...... they did. Now its time to move on. One thing bothers me really now and that is it. Hello! Bads1, still have the sled, actually just brought it home, had to dig it out. Its been in the woods in the U.P. for the past several years and hadn't been riden in at least 2 years now. Hoping to get it cleaned up a bit and get it out this weekend. Hopefully it still works well after haveing sat for so long.  | ||

I'm going to throw some dates out there for the U.P trip. Weekends I'm not racing. Trying to get something out to see what will work for most. Also have some good solid leads on locations to stay, but nothing set in stone. Here's what works for me anyway.. June 20-23 June 27-30 July 11-14 (after Homecoming may be tough) July 18-21(Moto-ST weekend) August 1-4 August 8-11 August 15-18(Moto-ST) August 29- Sept.1 (moto-st) September 12-15 September 19-22 That's pretty much it for me. After September 1st it may be hard for those with kids, but I figured I'd throw it out there. I added the moto-st weekends in case people that run Moto-ST want to tag along, so those won't work for them. All the other weekends are pretty much racing, but I will skip one if it works out better for the majority of people. That 1st weekend in August seems like a good one to me. Let me know what works for those of you that are planning on attending. It should be a good time. | ||

Rocco, You know Andrea and I will most likely hook up with ya's for Homecoming. As far as other dates we'll see what we can do when time gets closer. Andrea graduates in June. I'd like to catch a race or two this year of yours. Also I'd like to go out to Road America for the AMA races. | ||

to those that have called me the last week or so, SORRY I haven't called ya back yet. Been busy with work (thank God), really busy at home and I'm so far behind on getting the bike back together that every free second is working on that, the downstairs bathroom and now have started tiling the up stairs bathroom. Nothing like taking on 3 large projects at once. Plus working Saturdays cuts into that time, but need to do that to pay for everything.  Dana, Mike and Greg, I'll give you a call this week. I'm also playing phone tag with Randy from Trackside to get my Ohlins shock slapped back together. Oh, plus we went and dropped $1700 on a new washer and dryer today. Karri wanted the front loader ones. Hope they last as long as our old ones did. See? Doing my part to help the economy! Plus I'm putting fat bars on the Uly and redoing the inside of the race trailer. Decided to use that probably for this year instead of a toy hauler for the simple fact that with gas projected to reach $4 a gallon for summer, I don't need to tow that extra bulk around. So making the trailer we have now a little more user friendly. Then when the weather warms up, it's new soffit, fascia, gutters and a little siding on the house!!  Damn. I'm busy!!
