Bomber,
I'll bring a map for you to either the 20th in the afternoon or the B-Trax on the 22nd or 23rd. Or I'll just carry one in my pocket for you if I miss you at those times.
Thanks.

Note to self: get fishing license and start fishing in the lake for food to feed a hungry crew. ;)

Any word on who Hal's BRAG liason is yet?
Or will the meeting be held in the parking lot?
Or will Kurt (sp?) be sitting in?
Or is he on the road already heading to the west coast start of the HOG run?
Let's see, 1, 2, 3, 4 questions, that's enough for now.
bye.

Just kidding, honestly, just kidding, shoot now I'm probably going to have to watch the meeting through a telescope.

Wait, the BRAG meeting, not the HOH meeting.

Humorists!!! Have been to House of Harley's new digs and was underwhelmed. Nice architecture but lacking inventory. Had lots of Bikes but was light on accessories and clothing.

Then again, with the 100th coming up so soon they could be jammed to the rafters by now. Especially, when you consider all the events they have going both at the store and at State Fair for the 100th.

Also had bad experience with their service department. Took almost two hours for a TPS reset and the retard put my air filter in backwards. Good thing all I did was ride it back to a different shop for a second dyno tune. You wouldn't believe the numbers that were coming up.

Bottom line is HOH is definitely not a Buell oriented dealer. However, I know many that like them for HD work, and that they may have improved concerning Buells since my experience.

I agree with Bill, but even the building was a bit disappointing. Kinda reminded me of a shanty town. Keep & connect 2 old buildings then add a 3rd new one in the mix is just weird. Every building you go in, the ceiling gets 10' lower:D

No XB12's of any flavor or color there. Lots of really overpriced Harleys however.

They have some Plywood counter deal setup thats going to be strictly for 100th T-shirts in 2 weeks. That place is going to be a zoo. Layton is going to be shut down from 64th to 60th st for the week.

Between there, Hals & state fair grounds there really isnt a reason to go downtown at all.

Dyna...Good decision. Hal's has all the entertainment that I want to see anyway. May hit the State Fair and the Riders Ranch also.

Am still checking out all the websites to see where the action is and will make an itinerary to cover the events I want to see. Should be a real busy week.

Just might have to get a job in September to pay for all the fun I plan on having at the 20th and 100th.

Got to Hal's at 8:00 AM this morning to pick up the coupons for the HD 100th event on Sunday, August 31st. Nice line, felt like I was back in So Cal. Only about 50 folks beat me there. By the time the store opened, the line was all the way around to the service center.

Translation: If you want coupons for this event, you had best get your butt in gear and get to the closest HD dealership NOW !!! You may want to call first to see if they still have any.

Hal's changed their mind and announced they were only giving out 300 today. Beats me what happened to the other 100 we heard they were giving out at last nights meeting, but then, everything is subject to change for good reason.

The guy in line behind me just bought a bike from Milwaukee HD and he claims they said they didn't have the coupons yet and this guy had folks in line at all the dealerships communicating via cellular. Could be a ruse or just the dealers staggering the days they will give them away. So call first and save yourself a wild goose chase.

Additionally, At Hal's the coupons (limit 2) were free to anyone on their database. All others were requested to donate $10.00 for MDA. Trust me, everyone was willing to donate just to get the coupons!

Screw that party at Veterans park. Going to be a major cluster fuck getting in & out. If it was at state fair park traffic wouldnt be nearly the concern.

Dyna...That is one of your more intelligent comments/criticisms. It really is going to be a night mare downtown that day. Now that I have the coupons, I need to get info on where to park the Buell.

One nice thing about having a Buell in Milwaukee during the 100th is that nobody wants to steal it unless they need donor parts. LOL
