I may be picking it up Thursday night and look forward to break that puppy in. as far as an NYC ride; I find that food is always a good incentive to get folks motivated. We can all cruise down at get some serious food at this place. http://www.dinosaurbarbque.com/nycIndex.php Very easy to park a group of bikes and easy to get to. Then we can get as adventurous as the group is willing to get. I can certainly map out some great scenic routes to cover a few boroughs. | ||

I ate there last summer with Crusty and Court, the food is great. Count me in too. Oh yea Nick, your bike is filthy! I started to wash it off because today was decently warm and i gave up after the front fender, its too cold to give a real wash. I took it for a quick spin with no plates on, and i love it. Seems to shake more at idle than my Uly, but it could just be me. | ||

 its not dirty, its modern artistic expression. Try boosting your idle speed to get rid of the shake. I dropped it down from the recommended 1500 to right around 1100... I kinda liked the vibrations at red lights. Dinosaur BBQ has some great wings and ribs, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. We will have to keep the idea open until it gets warmer so we can get a few more to join us. I'm actually heading down to Luger;s on Sunday to have a cheeseburger. hmmmmmmmmm | ||

Hey Froggy, are you going to ride to MBV? If so, are you going to do it in 1 day or 2? I'm trying to get the time off to go, and I want to ride there. I'm thinking that its better to take 2 days, but might try to tough it out and just ride it. Just wondering what you plan on doing. | ||

I've been posting mainly on the Hudson valley crew thread about this. I think I am gonna ride, and I am booked to stay at a cabin with some Nebo dudes. Can't be as scary as it was for me last time, just last second hopping in a truck to Georgia with a bunch of older guys I for the most part never met before.  | ||

Hey Froggy, Rather than painting, you may want to try dye. There are lots of threads about dying the XB plastics to get other non-manufactured colors. Do a search, you'll be blown away at some of the colors. Should be real easy too since you're starting with white plastic. | ||

I started experimenting with dyes, I haven't gotten the result I want yet but it should come in due time. I went out for my first ride today now that the bike is all legit. Fecking cold, but the neck gator thing works great! About a mile from home my throttle got stuck open, it wasn't fun coming to stop signs but I managed. I played with the throttle after I rolled it back into the garage and after a few minutes it went back to normal, I don't know what happened, but I hope it doesn’t come back. I have the bike sitting on a charger right now, as my voltmeter was showing up red or amber most of the ride. | ||
