How about this. Let's all meet up at 1:00pm Saturday at Hooters just south of Bell rd on 89th ??ave. If the food isn't any good at least the view will be. I talked to a salesman at Arrowhead Harley and he said they had 1 new Buell 1125R in stock. He seemed very excited to show off the bike to a pack of Buell riders. Hmmmm. I wonder why? I'm not sure about the rest of you , but I haven't seen the bike in person yet and it seems like a good a reason as any to have a get together. What say ye? | ||

I've seen, the 1125R, the looks took me a bit to get used to, but the bike is certainly VERY slick. so... Lunch at H(o)(o)ters, at 1300hrs? Then over to the shop to drool on the bike?  | ||

I should be getting my new crank, pistons, jugs, oil pump drive gear and left side bearing tomorrow. All that's left will be to get the bearing pulled and pressed and assembly  . Had a mild street port done and upped the compression. Went with the '08 crank/rods etc and used custom forged pistons. I'll use the same cams. I might have them port match the intake manifold also... I'll probably be riding next week if all goes well. Now I can stop borrowing my friends K1200R... I hate that thing. WAY too big. Good power though . | ||

I was down in Tucson saturday, man they are tearing that highway up down there! I thought they had just finished the freeway about the time I moved from there, back up to Phoenix, 5 yrs ago, and now it's all tore up again. Looks like they are widening most of the freeway from down town, out to Marana. what a mess. I'm still up for a ride out to Globe, and then down the back way to Tucson sometime next month. I'm going to try to get a hold of AL and see what he's up to, and if he wants to get out on one his many "toys". I think he has 2 Aprillas, and a beemer now. Don, quite some work your doing to your bike there. I hope it all comes together ok. | ||

I know I haven't been around for a (long) while - I am getting ready to apply to Med School - and *hopefully* by this time next year I will be in and going full time (which means not working) so I've put my baby up for sale. I miss you guys so much! Bart and Kelly, the boy with the girls name from Snottsdale - but you can bet that after Med school, I'll be back in the Buells for sure!! I'll maybe buy one of each and then kick your asses on the road again!!  I see a lot of new names on the board and welcome you all to the world of Buell!! You will never escape!! (but really, who wants to anyway?) | ||
