Kevin, you can't grind down an allen wrench to a stub to work? It's been awhile, but that's what i did

Shawn..Is it possible the plastic is too roughed up? Maybe some 600 then 1000 grit wet sanding before using polish?

it was good to see you greg, it was cool having two buell customers at once also.
dana's was the first buell i saw on the road when i got mine in 2001, a purple s2 (might have been parkway blue?) i think i saw danny's old cyclone the same year but that was it until 2003!

Ustorque. have you tried high speed buffing with a mild compound? that should get some shine back into the plastic.

you need to go up to at least 1500 grit. 2000 and 2500 would be even better....

sups NEBO.. .

Nickcaro, Tony's a really great guy and runs a super-tight trackday program. I have not done one myself but I've ridden dirt with Tony along with a few of his instructors Ken C and Paul D. Ride dirt with Paul quite a bit actually. All stand-up guys.

Other forums I frequent hold TTDs as the best they've attended and continue to attend each season.

couple'a coins.. .

Those are the grits to use if you are polishing metal as well - the best polish is elbow grease!

Patches are on the way-- I snuck 'em in with corporate mail today so the S&H is on my company. Also fired one off to Ulywife & one to Blake. Thanks to all the knee-bone freaks who ponied up the cash. I hope you like how they came out-- I'm REALLY happy with the result.

Shawn- that thing polished up purtier than a stripper pole! Well done.
