Just wanted to post here for a run that has been in the works for the last few months. Info below:

www.hogs4hokies.org

We will never forget... We are Virginia Tech

JOIN THE “HOKIE HOG ” ON A CHARITY BIKE RIDE TO VA TECH!

To help remember the first anniversary of the shooting tragedy at VA TECH, we’re cruising to Blacksburg in April to present the University with donations and visit the beautiful campus and memorial.

If you are interested in joining us visit hogs4hokies.org to register and donate on-line. The ride is April 12-13, 2008. It’s a one-day ride from NoVA to Blacksburg and optional next day ride back to NOVA (camping available/ other accommodations not included). Details later and on the website. Mark your calendars!

RSVP ASAP by email if you plan to ride so we can keep you informed! Thank you

If you are unable to ride but can donate or sponsor us - Hokie Friends Challenge:
On behalf of the families and victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy on April 16, 2007, I challenge my Hokie friends to help contribute their continued support for the 32 victims lost, the 17 injured, and the remaining family and friends who were affected by the events of that sorrowful day.

I challenge you to consider making a gift in their memory and help us raise the funds needed to ensure that their memories live on through the Virginia Tech 32 Victim Fund. This fund will help support endowed scholarships in each of the victims names so that they will always be honored and remembered on the Virginia Tech Campus.

I’m working with Virginia Tech, and other groups to see that this cause is never forgotten. Donations can be on-line, in any amount, and are all appreciated. Or please make checks payable to the “Virginia Tech Foundation ” and note on the memo line “32 Victim Fund - hogs4hokies” and send to address below. Thanks for your generosity!!
