Anyone in the San Diego area? I know we have SCAB, but those guys are mostly North County and L.A. I don't see many riders from S.D. on here. Where are you all?

I'll be out there in July to take care of some family business and visit friends.
I'll be out there for a few weeks.

I'll be bringing my bike along so I can get out and ride with friends and hit some
of my favorite roads. I'll be sure to give a shout when I'm there.

Be great to hear from you Brian
You can get a hold of me here when you get the chance. I'm usually messing around here, trying to update my section.

Are you bringing your full fairing bike in your pick? I would love to see that. I've admired that bike since the day I saw it here. Kinda wanted to do the FF but didn't know how much heat it would push on me.

Your not related to any Jones in Ohio are you.
Just noticed your last name is the same as mine. : )

Don't know of any relatives in Ohio, and yep that's the bike I'm bringing and I love
showing it off.

I've considered painting it differently a few times, but it's relatively famous in
it's current look, being the "mule" that a bunch of parts were tested on while Hal's
had it.

The full fairing has worked fine for me and heat has never been a major issue, but
I do have a heat reflector under the seat and airbox and the pipes are wrapped.

I'll be staying in North Clairemont (just south of the 52/805 intersection). I will
also have to run up to the North County at some point to visit Al and Joanne at
American Sport Bike. And maybe hit Mt Palomar while I'm at it ; )

Hi guys,

If any of you are up for a ride Monday, my wife and I our heading out on Monday morning to Ramona to meet a workmate of hers and then head out further East. Should be about a half day ride. They ride Sportsters and I ride a Cyclone. I can't ride too spirited as my wife isn't quite up to that yet, but should be a nice day for a ride and what a good way to spend Memorial Day! Let me know if you are interested and I'll shoot you the route and where we can meet.

Dave
