Bomber,
Are you talking about adding two inches to the length or two inches to the thickness? More passenger room or more rider comfort? I assume thickness but have been wrong before. :)

Bomber, cycle empire in Milwaukee can do it. There is a gentleman who has his shop right in the building. Does good work, dont know about pricing.

They are right off of I-894 & Loomis rd.

Mike

Thickness for the rider. . . . .a 600 mile weekend told my wife that she's a little close to the pegs . . . . .

Dyna -- THAT's the place . . . .I remember your speaking of it a while ago . . .thanks, bud

Bomber, Be advised though that adding a bunch of padding to the seat is going to make for a crappy ride unless you firm it up underneath the padding.

We rode toward Madison on 94, down some nice scenic country roads (damned if I can remember the numbers or letters, I'll try to do better)

We did go by a spring where there were a bunch of people stopping with jugs to fill with water ! Kinda funny ! And then ended up in Delavan I think, and had lunch across the street from a church that had been converted to Lang store ! The restaurant had the best chicken dumpling soup I've ever had !

Nothing at all wierd happened, just fun visiting and riding !

Dan

yessir . . .actually, adding to the thinkness isn't the need so much as, perhaps, increasing the density . . .. . the seat compresses easily to the point where my wife's thighs are almost parallel to the ground . . . . like to see her riding about and inch or inch and a half higher than with the standard seat . . . . . .

thanks for the tip

I tried my hand at the Battletrax event in West Bend. First time out and had a great time until Jason on the XB9S had his little mishap. Which resulted in a broken ankle the dealer tells me. Also Chris from W-B Harley said that Jason is thinking of getting better boots, which is a good sign that he will be back again. I believe the Battletrax master was a guy out of Pennsylvania....Neil was his name.
It was nice to see a familiar face who I met at one of the Two Wheel Tuesdays happenings, Bill with the black X1. Well I thought I'd do a post and introduce myself a little. I forget what all my profile says but I have been riding since I was 12 and have logged 25,000 miles on my S3 with minimal problems, one exhaust stud broke, leaky valve cover gaskets, and front exhaust mount. I really can not complain about any of that because the bike is still strong and gets 50 to 54 mpg. My other motorcycle activities include hill climbing with a 1200 sporty in a Honda motocross chassis, and having fun on my Banshee four wheeler.
It was nice to meet some of you at the Battletrax event, Jerry, Mike, and Chris. Looking forward to the next one.

Keep the shinny side up,
Shane

Just one thing Shane, if you go around the Trax about 4 seconds slower you'll have a lot more fun (and I'll have a better chance of winning). ;)

See you at Ukes.

Shane...Was great to see you again. Looks like I am going to have to start making it to TWT again so we can coordinate some rides.

Really enjoyed watching you run the course. Learned a lot from observing and talking to you and the others and am looking forward to the next event.

dakota, you work at HOH? Can you tell me what the deal is with their prices? I wanted one of the warneke & Faust front fenders & since they are the US distributors I figured give them the business. Hell they wanted $50 more than if I just ordered it & had it shipped direct from germany...thats what I did by the way. The salesman even told me that if I wouldnt pay extra for the shipping that they didnt want my business.

Dyna,
He works at HoH, he rides a 1998 M2 Buell, I think he has enough to deal with without being made accountable for HoHa's managerial policies. ;)
They're listed as a Buell dealership, but according to their web site they only carry the Blast.

Hello, Joe with suburban and/or Brew City here.
On the way back from the ride on 94 I did get hit in the knee with a piece of wheelie boys exhaust.

I see from Gerry Dolphin's email that the Wildcat Mtn trip is canceled. Any ideas for an alternative ride this weekend or has everyone gone underground?

Joke of the Day:

What happens when a duck egg falls?

I wish I could have made the Wildcat Mtn. trip. It was an awsome time last year, but it wasn't in the cards for me this year. I was to be traveling up to Thorp this weekend, but one of Diane's uncles passed away this week so plans have changed for both her and me.

If anyone is interested in a ride up to Oshkosh on Saturday, probably mid-moring or very early afternoon speak up now. Destination will be a pool party and PIG ROAST. If you have never been to a good pig roast, then you really need to join me. (there will be other meats as well as sweet corn etc.) It will be a good time.

What happens when a duck egg falls?

Well ?????

If anyone is interested in a ride up to Oshkosh on Saturday,

I've got a wedding to go to on Saturday, or I would !! I thought I might could ride on Sunday, but can't cause I'm probably going to Renaissance (sp?) Faire !! When's the next ride ?? How about Sunday Aug 3rd, is there one then ??

If you have never been to a good pig roast, then you really need to join me.

Been to some good Razorback roasts back home !! :)
Wheelie Boy is fun to ride with, but he sure does ride HARD !! Hope I never have to catch a ride with him, I believe he'd drop me off the bike !! LOL
