Time to make plans for round 2 of the WV BUELL RALLY!!! When: August 15TH to the 17TH Where: http://www.northbendsp.com/ Same place as last year! Why: We had a hell of a good time last year! Just sitting around the campfire with you all (and that lady) made my trip down last year completely worth it. This year I hope to get off work and actually be able to ride with you all too. Is there a plan for Friday yet? | ||

Be back at the camp ground at 6pm for a ride to my folks house for dinner.... Ride back to camp... WATCH OUT FOR THAT DEER!! Fire, Beer, Sleep.... Saturday.....Ride, eat, ride, gas, ride, eat, ride, gas, eat, ride back to camp, fire, beer, sleep.... Sunday pack it up, Hugs and kisses, see ya next year...... | ||

Buell demolition derby was fun and makes for some good stories. But if we can avoid it this year, that would be fine with me! Anybody got a good camera we can use to take some action shots with? I thought of a good corner to set up in and watch the action. It would be cool to get some knee draggin' pics. | ||

Are you taking about that horse shoe bend between Sistersville and Grantsville? How far do you guys usually venture on this rally? Is Hawk's Nest to far? Rt. 16 all the way to Hawks Nest is a good ride. Gauley Bridge to Hawk's Nest is down right awesome. | ||

From what everyone said last year after our 300 + mile ride, I think we are going to stay close to the camping area. Do a ride in the morning, get some lunch and do a afternoon ride. I think I may try to head down on Memorial Day weekend and do some riding, take some pics and plan some ride routes. When the time comes I will post something to let anyone who wants to flog their bike to come on down. | ||

Yeah, still got it. My Kawi gets 50+ mpg, has a 225 mile range, cheap insurance, prefers 87 octane, plenty of zip and only cost me $7.5k with luggage. It took me to Canada through six states and home without a hiccup. Endured 18 hours of rain to get to South Florida on a whim and back too! Hard to pass up when my goals are riding mucho, working little-o. Although I should be retired by the time of this shindig in WV. If my Uly would not have had problems I'd probably be after an 08 already but... My dealer has 6 brand new 07's and 2 08's. Plus my pinger for $7.5k w/bags. Maybe I'll sell the Kawi to my brother and get the dealer to sell me an 07 at cost. Maybe not; either way I'll see you all in August. Or March if your going to "Badness". holy smokes ! that's only about 5-6 hours from me. Curious... P.S. Scratch the 5-6 hours, I checked. it's under 5 hours to get there from my far corner of Ohio.
