From 9/99 to 9/01 I was at Precision Weapons Section, WTBn, Quantico. I was the SNCOIC of pistol section before I left. I might have built some of the stuff you were using (DMR, MEUSOC pistol). |

hey nate, the powers that be said i can give you 20% off list = 47.96 for the fly screen and 164.80 for the airbox cover. BTW nebo friends, precision should very shortly be a badweb sponsor & they put me in charge of buell p&a ! so, i'm going to be checking out the threads concerning dealer stock items and hopefully soon, we'll have more buell stuff! unfortunately i don't have anything to do with motorclothes, however after the new year we should be getting more buell shirts (i've been griping since i started here) also, i've been trying to make this dealership super buell friendly since i've been here, some day i hope for us to be like appleton or one of those other supercool buell dealers out there! |

I have been happier with Precision over Sheldon's (sorry Eboos - they've sold me the wrong parts 3 times...and I won't even mention the 'special order' issues).

I hope Richie really means it and isn't blowing smoke up your butt.They've been my source for all things Harley&Buell forever.And likely will continue,especially if they do sponsorship or you can get us discounts.Keep up the great work Tripp,and say hello to my wife.She loves the recognition she gets there.
Now can we fire up that CNC mill in the back for some custom billet Buell parts? |

NO-NO-NO! You see,she works at a law firm a few blocks away from Precision.She and i review our parts list and she plays my Gopher and stops in for Buell parts.Technically,the red XB12r IS her's 'ya know. And everyone at Precision seems to go out of their way to say hello to her.She really digs the place.
Aaannnd BTW i was called to my friends machine shop today.He's ready to cut my new Ducati pistons.FINALLY after many freaking months of waiting it looks like assembly of this bike may commence next week...WHEW! |

Tripp, thanks... but strange as it may seem. when i bought the bike the deal was 1000 off as is or 800 off for the black and i couldnt keep the translucent pieces???????? that was not a deal!!!and i was blinded buy the new shinny thing in the beginning to care. shame on me! but im still thinking about it. |

When I bought my bike from there I didn't leave happy, just the opposite, I left really pissed. The whole deal sucked. When I went to go pick up my bike the guy who brought me to it didn't know a f'n thing about Buells. He couldn't show me anything about the bike. I'm not even going to get into the shit that I went through while buying the bike.
I'm glad your turning things around there Tripp but when I see it, I'll believe it. They really have to do a 180 before I spend any kind of big dollars there again. |

Free parts/discount/refund/service???? OR they just blow smoke up yer ass's while you are there and make you "feel" important...
Sounds like a "Vague" way of saying:

I don't know about you, BUT I DON'T see a "Good" Dealership stuffing it to ANY customer they like/apreciate.
POOR bizzness practice if you ask me...But what do I know?!

eric, i've only been there two months spreading the buell love, but they seem very receptive. i've been doing everything i can to make it more buell friendly over there.

Eric...You're entirely correct(and know my story).They made me feel good so they could seal the deal.They do recognize me and go out of their way to say hello anytime i'm there.They're the best i've seen. |
