I'm likely in for Saturday, this will possibly be the last one I'll be able to make it to, so I would be almost willing to part out my body just to make it, well not until after anyway... does anyone need an extra left hand? Jeremy Time and place is all I need to know. |

There is a strong chance I'll be moving to the Denver, Co. area. Am considering going to CU at Boulder I hear they have a good school there. Either way, I'm in for Saturday. Jeremy |

I wouldn't mind still meeting at Gators for breakfast then going to Latus. Forecast looks to be cooler so maybe meeting around 9 would be better. Just a thought. I'm open for whatever. |

Sounds good to me. So for now lets say 9:00 for breakfast and a 10:00 departure for Latus. Still waiting on a confirmed time from Latus though. |

I would love to chat with you about Co. when you have time, you can call me anytime on my cell or email me. I'm still in the prelims for going back to school but I'm likely going to be moving just after my job is done. Jeremy 360-608-1450 j.r.williams@comcast.net |

Any one try hwy 53 yet? I think this is probably one of the nicer roads I have been on so far. Only problem is th at this time of year only about 50% dry out from the morning dew/fog. I did a 180 or so mile loop that went through 53 and Timber. Both highly recommended on dryer days. The only downside is the 40 miles on 26 and the 50 miles on 6. Below is a map of my route. The road marked Closed, was the planned route over to 53 but was forced to take 101 all the way to wheeler.

Looks like we are confirmed for 10:00 -10:30 time frame for Latus. So a meet at 9:00 at Gators with a 10:00 depart sounds perfect. "We are good for this coming Saturday. Let's plan on meeting at 10-10:30 at Latus Motors. I will alert our receptionist that members of the Portland Buell Riders club will be coming over. Hope to see everyone there. Kenny Dreer" |

Aron, When did they close the Miami River road? I road it back in August and it was beautiful. Route looks nice and ambitious. Of course, I would be game Brady |

Brady, yes this may be a little ambitious for this weekend since we are going into Latus first. As wet as it was it we would be better of on roads closer in. IMO I am not sure when they closed Miami River Road but its just temporary for road construction. |

Today's ride was good guys, thanks for bringing me and my friends along. Sorry I had to turn around before the end, but when all the Vancouver bound people were heading back I had to, I don't like to ride alone much. Anyway, have fun and thanks. |

Nice.. Pics. Jeremy, no problem. The road ended up being nice. They have now filled in all the gravel spots on 224. We even saw some snow and ice. |

I only got 6 pics today, can share the rest if you guys want to see 'em, but these were the best I thought. Jeremy PS if anyone wants the full resolution pics I can email them, they are around 15MB each if you want them in raw(for those with good photo editing software) or a little smaller for .jpeg |

Next Saturday is suppose to be looking good once again. I would appreciate if someone could post some ideas for route so we don't have a last minute decision that everyone might not be prepared for. I am starting to run out of new ideas. Some ideas from the past.. St. Helens - Riding 14 to Carson up to the 503 through Cougar? About a 150 mile loop starting in Vancouver. Another old stand by is hwy 47 to Clatskanie and back on Apiary rd. About a 150 mile loop starting in Hillsboro. |

I'm always down for the 503 loop, it is, after all, my favorite ride. If I'm still around, and the weather is favorable, I'm in either way. I'll keep an eye out for a place with a decent breakfast special or lunch special depending on meet time. And Paul and Jim better make this one, it's a strong likelihood it will be the last one I can attend for a very long time, if I'm still in the area for this one. Jeremy |

Jeremy, based on the temps of this last ride I would suggest 11:00. Anyone else? |

11:00 sounds great to me, the 503 loop is only about 130 miles but as a couple of us know, it's a great road, I'm always ready to explore new roads too. I'm happy to tag along if I can. Jeremy |

Was good to see you folks on Saturday for breakfast and the Latus tour/discussion. Sorry I couldn't have joined on the ride. Rode back home to Salem, then back up with the family to Beemer friends' end of season party... we've got at least three bigger trips planned for 2008, in addition to repeat trips down to NorCal for my favorite roads. One of those NorCal weekends will be Buell time. |

Ok so for this Saturday we will do the 503 loop. Meet time 11:00 at Sheris for the Vancouver guys with a 11:30 departure for the ride. We can still do a Gators meet and ride up together for the Salem/Portland guys if you like. Any thoughts. |
