Give 'em up, Torque-- their value will be repayed tenfold in wrenching, advice, tire changes, TPS resets, and know-how. So long as you can make it to Uxbridge, that is. |

Home safe...somebody post up with info on the NH crew!!! Hope he makes it out of the hospital in better shape than he went in!!! For those that didn't go to HH3 - one of the guys from NH (I apologize profusely for not being able to remember his name...I'm terrible with names) went down BAD...with two other people...broken arm, one leg broken in two places, one of those leg breaks was a compound fracture. Thanks to Mike for keeping a cool head at the accident scene and supplying the always critical first aid support!!! The only report I heard was that he was still in surgery and had already had his spleen removed. It was a terrible way to finish off a big ride like that. |

omg, sorry i did'nt contact you, thank you for the concern. my brother is fine he was behind the guy that went down ( derrick, i hope he's going to be ok). apparently derrick cut a turn wide and crossed the double yellow, collided head on with a guy and his wife on a harley, and another biker behind the couple bailed and managed to be ok. mike(signguy) came around the corner right after derrick, got off his bike and waved rob over before he got to the crash (thanks mike). so anyways mike and rob avoided the collision, phew. rob is still freaking out (as am i) about the condition derrick is in, we're all praying for him here. |

Hey Shawn......When can we meet up? I would like to get them brackets if possible... Thanks! |

eric heres the deal on the brackets......i have the front and rear brackets and the mounting bolts but not the stainless clamps but im sure you can figure something out. on the rear bracket i notched out a small piece at the bottom with my dremel so i didn't have to remove the oil line when i took it off, i don't think it should be a problem for ya though. so if you still want them they are yours free and clear or maybe occasional brain picken or TPS. i'm headed to weymouth mass on saturday morning and from there to natick before heading home to NH if anything around there would work for you let me know. or i can just mail them to you can't imagine the shipping would be much. No..make that I yanked my Ducati racing pistons from the machine shop.I walked in,saw them, waited, looked at them still not machined.Nobody there acknowledged me so i simply turned around and walked out with them. An hour earlier i spoke with my NH dealer who was sorry and advised me to call the US importer.I DID,he stated (yet AGAIN! In an earlier conversation when i wanted an over bore piston he said he had these)These are DROP IN Pistons!!! MAN! I'm PI$$ED! I've waited for many months just to source pistons then another 2 months trying to machine them. When the US importer says they DO NOT even need any further machining. They're drop in 13:1 stock bore pistons. This is why i absolutely HATE embarking on performance modifications. |

The outer edge of the dome will be too close to the head. Some say clearance the head.My best advice given to me was to clearance the dome so the combustion is kept closer to the middle of the dome. The other way, combustion is squished towards the edge of the piston...not good I've got another line on a machine shop right nearby, otherwise i'll be headed back to the dealer i bought them from in Laconia. It ALL SUCKS |
