Hey Dasxb9s,we need more DADS being DADS,than we need Buellers We went riding and at least my bro and I missed the rain,went to his house and tore into his motor,found no exhaust valve and a very beat up head and piston.We were headed west into the direction of all the rain when he and I decided it was time to head home and work on his car.You didnt miss a thing,not much riding and alot of rain.Im not sure where the others went or if they got caught in the rain. | ||

My son is the center of my universe. Nearly everything I do, I somehow factor him in... be it something to connect with his future or being sure that decisions I make for me do not negatively impact on him. I feel lucky to have him. A great kid... just turned 14... and a fellow Buell-aholic. Next summer he will start off on a Blast, passed down by my fiancée. Only One problem... from day one when he and I went XB9S shopping... he had ideas of the XB9S being passed down to him at some time... I try to be a good dad... but he is gonna have to get his own XB!!! He and I sometimes go out on my BMW. ...and I thought of doing that Sunday... but I had to pick up the display case. HOWEVER... at the sports complex there was a SCCA rally and we watched the car version of battletrax for a bit... it was pretty cool. There was a guy on a racing go-cart that kicked everyones ass! | ||

Well, I survived round 2 in Quincy......thanks again to Keith and Heather for their hospitality. Keith, be sure and thank Greg for the boat trip on Friday (who would have guessed you could get that many naked ladies, whip cream and Jello shots on a forty foot powerboat) Fantastic. I will E-mail pics to you sometime today Keith! By the way....we did some riding too! Got some good pics from the weekend. Everyone leaned way over for the camera at least once! I had forgotten what it was like to drag so many hard parts, the X1 performed flawlessly! my liver is a whole 'nother story! The hunting dog came through again....this time a rescue mission! Someone who resembles myself(not going to name names....) wandered off into the Cemetary in a drunken stupor the wee hours of Sunday morning.....(I was not feeling so well!) that person was declared MIA after an hour or so and the dog was sent in! Nothing quite like a big black dog running through a dark cemetary in the still of the night to convince you death was coming, and not so hard to believe in that condition! The person in question was returned to the living shortly thereafter.....nice doggie..... Ben, wish you could have come out and played more this weekend. I hope we didn't convince your wife you shouldn't do road trips with us! good luck with that one! I hope your ride home was uneventful. talk to you soon! back to the grind..... Keith, if the Videotape turns up, Destroy it, do not watch! Blame Dena as I am camera shy and tried to obstruct the filming! hahahahaha, or you could just send it to me! OK Guys, I feel it is my "duty" to bring you all up to speed on the Debauchery that Sam and Jason performed at Burlington steamboat days this past week. Some of it is not pertaining to motorcycles but those that were here for the Harley Rally will appreciate some of the finer aspects! Bens (Blaster420) area will never be the same!! Jason had a wonderful start to the weekend!! I think it was an omen!! Any of you guys remember the girl he gave a ride to from the Dock to Backwaters Saturday night during the Harley rally?? Well upon thier arrival we decide we need to go get a latenight meal and headed to a local bar and grill. Jason runs across the street to get smokes while Sam and I get a table. Guess who was our waitress?? the girl he gave a ride!!  Sam and I decide we are going to have a little fun with this. So Jason walks in and Sam starts going on about how hot our waitress is and how I really hooked us up taking them to this establishment. Waitress walks up behind Jason and asks if he needs something to drink. Jason turns around! both thier faces turn beat RED!  I don't think he really enjoyed his meal after that point. He couldn't have due to his tongue being on the ground from tripping over it so many times while trying to speak to her!! The next morning started out as what my liver now likes to call a bad omen!  Loaded up the bikes and headed up to Burlington. Met up with a buddy of mine and decided at that point to leave the bikes on the trailer. Headed to the riverfront. Sam decided that he was going to drag Jason along on a hunting trip of the local wildlife.   My buddy came to pick us up in his little jonboat and we headed to the local beach.  the little jonboat!! This is where the meyhem and debauchery really started!!!!!!! Words will not due this justice so I will just post a few pics so that everyone gets the idea. Digger, "IT" is on Tori's camcorder....and I don't know how I am going to keep that tape from making the rounds! LOL, It's hard to drive when you have two females behaving like that in the car, and one videotaping it all. I regretted not taking pictures on our last trip out there with Keith, Richie, Frank and Mike....so I made up for it this time.....120 pics and only four suitable for the masses! | ||

Friday evening in Burlington went a little something like this!! After surviving the afternoon excursion we all headed back to our respective areas to get cleaned up for the evening. Difficult task for one of us. This person seemed to get into a little disagreement with a Shower curtain?????  UMMMM,, Jason, how did that thing come off the wall again???? Went an got some dinner at a local establishment.  note the over abundance of women that seem to be around at all times!!! Food??? Well, I think Sam got something to eat. The rest of us waited an hour for our food and just cancelled the order since it hadn't arrived and we were trying to make the Def Leppard concert. Of course we polished off a few beverages.  Arrived at the concert just in time to see the last 5 songs. note to self, never pay $10 a song to see any band. They were AWESOME from what we saw. WE did get to see them perform all the really good songs though. not that they really have a bad one. Oh Well, minor detail and back to what we seemed really good at!!  note, Ben (Blaster420) joined us for the concert and party afterwards! Sam???/ What the hell is that in your ear????  Jason is cheesing it up like he did all weekend! The partying after the concert was awesome. Only really out of line event was some idiot hit a woman. He did get everything he deserved though. Upon completion of his stupid move some other gentleman brought it upon himself to knock the idiot out cold. Guy left on a stretcher. Guess thats what you get for hitting a woman. From what I hear there was a little party back on the boat after the concert. I missed this event due to getting lost in a local wateringhole. We finally turned in about 2:30 a.m. We didn't get to see the sunrise this evening, but think we made up for it in longevity. 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.  The next morning, breakfast was a feat. I killed the tremendous 12!!! OH YA!!!! 4 bacon, 4 pancakes, 3 eggs, and hashbrowns. I'm not even going to count the 2 pieces of toast. I would sound like a real heathen. This was even more of an accomplishment due to having the shakes. My pain seemed to bring great pleasure to Sam and Jsaon's faces.  We headed back to Quincy for a little R&R and a bit of riding. Keith p.s. Yes Sam the videotape is floating around. I saw bits and pieces of it lastnight. I don't think that Tori is going to let that thing out of her hands!! She mentioned sending you a copy though. p.s.s. Ben, Guess that is what you get when you try to knock around a woman!!! Dude deserved everything he got. And I hate seeing anyone get arrested but this situation is definately the exception to that rule. |
