Well I was Solo Saturday AM, thought I might be. No problems though, didn't have to fight over the Java! I didn't ride much in the AM but did go out in the afternoon. I live on the west side so I ran the west end of Skyline. Nirvana. Good road surface, not many cagers clean lines. One of the better runs I've had on the bike! Not knoign the road well hindered me a bit, but there were very few suprises, a couple spots of gravel creeping into the lanes, felt pebbles roll under the rubber once or twice, but never had to change my line once I was commited, and was never uncomfortable. A couple great curves, nice and tight, and long! Very few bumps (I do need a bit more compression dampening in the front I think (Sunspension clinic anyone?). All in all a highly recomended road. Perhaps I'll put together a route that runs this and ends at Mccminimans for a Saturday soon. |

Ok guys, talk to me. Saturday looks like it's going to be sub 60 degree weather and possibly rainy. Anyone going this week? I can relay it to my motorcycling friends, though I'm unlikely to attend if raining, or if I sleep through my alarm again, or both. If it's raining, maybe I'll show up on 4 wheels and say hi to anyone who shows up. Jeremy |

Obviously the open heart surgery on my Italian mistress was a success... a pricey one. The dealership opened up a $1300 hole in my wallet and has left me to walk funny for a while yet. Funny how you can walk with a spring in your step when there is so much less money weighing you down, hmmm, something to think about. But the up side is, she runs smoother, power comes on more efficiently and more smoothly. Did I mention she runs smoother? On a different note, Ducati is in the plans to release a prepaid service deal and the dealership is going to try to get it backed out of the price I just paid for this service, so in a way, they are going to try to retroactively hook me up. So, thumbs up to Arun at Moto Corsa as well as the other guys and ladies that make it all work. Jeremy |

I'm planing on a ride Saturday AM! Weather this AM said it was the only dry day of the next week. Thoughts on a route? I'd like to swing by Latus and meet Kenny, assuming he's working, after (or before)that I'm open. Wine Country? West side loop? Hood Foothills? |

Very Cool. Little out of the way for me as well. Borrowed bike and I rode for a couple hours this morning. We stopped at Latus and talked to George Latus about his plans for the Team Latus Buell Club. It sounded very promising. From Team Latus. "Aron, It was my pleasure! I just sent Kenny Dreer an e-mail discussing some of the ideas and suggestions you guys had. I told Kenny to start working on a track day at Portland, Seattle or Spokane. I also told him we wanted to do this for Buell exclusively, and that we also wanted a solid program of instruction on aspects of bike prep for the track and also track riding skills. I also asked Kenny to renew his efforts on finding a supplier for the muffler cores we used in our mufflers. We wouldn’t be adverse to having a short run of these manufactured exclusively for us. Thanks again. Ride Safe, George Latus Team Latus Motors" |

That section between Shaniko and Fossil has got to be the most fun I have ever had! If anybody gets a chance it is well worth the boring ride to get there... |

I'll be in Eastern WA on Saturday, so I'm out... That section of 97 North of Madras is where I allmost got poped for the 100+. I get out to Prineville pretty often, have to stop by Sisters and say hi one of these times. |

I will be available. Do we want to move the meet time out for the Fall and Winter hours? As far as route I will leave that up to someone else this time. |

If it's dry this Saturday I'd love to get another ride in. Next weekend I'll be out of town, but this weekend I'll be available. I'm down for a slightly later meet time, riding from the couve at 6:30am is a bit of a full body numbing experience. Not to mention, the sun doesn't even seem to hit the horizon until nearly 8am now. Either way, lemme know. Jeremy |

Aron- Missed breakfast ride again... but did ride down here in the valley for a couple hours in rain-free bliss. I've seen the local Salem guy with the Super TT on I-5, will give him a call to rally up on one of these dry Saturdays. There's also the guy with really nice customized XB12S that works at one of my customers... left him an e-mail, will work on a posse from the valley to head north for 8am breakfast before year's end. No problem Mark. It was raining early this morning so I waited a few hours myself. I ended up doing about 150 miles through some back roads beaver creek and upper highland before I ended up in Sandy where it rained on me. I stopped off at friends house and had some home brewed IPA. He has fridge setup with three kegs on tap. |

WINTER HOURS 8:00 am - 9:00 am for BreakFast. Once it starts getting really cold we may have to consider a Lunch meet-up instead of Breakfast meet-up. Any objections, just post away. I won't know until tomorrow morning if I can make it. Route. How about some backroads between Oregon City and Molalla., beavercreek, S Unger, 211 to Colton. or some other roads in that area. The Newberg thing has been done. Not sure maybe someone with a GPS can route it out |

I'm in, as far as I know. Got a pretty sick kid at home, but the wife is in town this week, so I should be able to make it. Might have to be a shorter day is all. Winter hours are good. I feel funny leaving my house before the sun comes up As far as routes. I'm down for whatever. Wouldn't mind doing the Detroit thing again. Maybe just up and back for me. Can't do the all day thing like I did last time. |
