When are you guys going. I am going down. Only about 10 mi from my house. Tripple s is my selling dealer also but they are again on my naughty list. Will take a free ride them though. Hope to meet some fellow buellers there. Jon |

I'm going to be out of town ...unless I hurry on back on Sunday ... have fun fellas. S&P in Marietta (where I take my Uly) is having theirs early May I think. It is going to be nice the next couple of days it looks....I went bug hunting this evening up to Waynesburg on 19.... caught a bunch....I think the windshield won tonight. |

Hmm, rode to Buell of Frederick, MD today and scored the Hydration Pack. Rode the new XT for a demo. Nice bike 
Hmm, Mapquest says Triple S is only 120 miles away...Hmmm, got a buddy that needs a Hydration pack that can't get time off to go to a dealer....Hmmm. Will there be a meeting/get together time at the dealer???? |

Why go all that way when you are closer to White's/Iron Valley and Lancaster/Willow Street? Not to mention Williamsport?

The factory demo truck will be there. I have found it easier, to do the demo ride and get the freebie, and leave than just showing up at a dealer, meeting with the sales guy, talking, talking some more, finally getting the bike out, listening to the sales pitch, doing test ride, listen to the sales pitch again, signing the freebie slip and getting the freebie. Nothing against the sales guy, he is doing his job. I'm just not in the market for another bike right now. The test ride on the XT, sold me on what will be my next bike, whenever I wear this one out - 2 to 3 years from now.
Plus the ride across I-68 in MD is very scenic. I'm sure I can find some "back roads" to get there as well. |

Is there any way to find out a head of time--like weeks ahead- where the factory demo truck will be? I understand where you are coming from.

I just go to www.buell.com and click on events. You can search by state or nationwide by date. |

Ok I checked. only 2 events scheduled are way east. Pottstown and Philly area. Doesn't look like the demo truck is even going to be at Carlisle Bikefest this year. Bummer! They going to miss out have close to 30,000 people see them or at least walk past in just 1 weekend! Talk about missed sale opportunity!

I rode the new Kawi Concourse 14 last year. Nice bike, easy to "throw around". Nice route for the demo ride. Oh yeah, they "let 'em fly" I was running near 100 to keep the lead demo bike in view. So if you get the chance, do the Kawi demo ride, sign up early in the morn to get a ride in. |

Hi folks...Didn't even know BadWeb had this regional type of area to it! I'm in Chippewa (Beaver Falls), and work in Moon. Just picked up a 1125R a little less than a month ago. |

I know we have exchanged posts over the winter but I did not realize we were both in Beaver County. I'm located in Fombell outside Ellwood City. Hopefully we can meet up some ware over the summer, maybe at the Lube in Cranberry. I'd like to see your new 1125R. I have not heard the new engine running yet.

Yeah, absolutely! I am in Chippewa, right off Shenango Rd and Wallace Run Rd. We're not far apart at all...
There is a group of folks that I have been riding with sometimes in the Moon Twp area. No other Buells, but a bunch of good guys.

It's been quite a while, but I thought I'd give the Pittsburgh thread a much needed "BUMP".
Most of the people I was riding with have either moved (3 gone; to Atlanta, Chicago, Memphis) or had to sell their bike (1 lost job, 1 expecting twins and already has 2 kids).
Outlook is bleak for me riding in groups, unless I can stir up a few interested folks... |
