OK, time to pat myself on the back publicly! and give Kudos to our hosts for the weekend! Believe it or not, I am still feeling a bit worn from the weekend......just not quite as young as I used to be...hee-hee. Keith and Heather, BIG thank yous'

Keith, I have to say that you have THE best hunting dog I've ever seen....it goes something like this... so I'm sittin on the back steps at Gravediggers watching dinner grill, we're all Buell-shitting while Heather is trying to draw the dogs attention away from the food, she keeps asking the dog "do you want to go hunting?" at which point the dog wags tail festively. after watching/hearing this a few times, (and being of good humor and poor taste) I add "go find some beaver" the dog takes one look at me then bounds up the steps to the door behind me(check "hog rally 2" pics above), where a fine young blond was making her entrance.......and that was how the weekend began....what a great dog!

honestly when I got out into the grass and spun up the rear wheel, slid it out a little sideways...I was just cleaning mud off my tires! seriously! and I did NOT see the cop car before the wheelie down main, However I did see the Bicycle cop when the "through three gears" burnout appeared beneath me.....go figure? All in all, I still don't understand how they didn't stake a claim on the bail money I took with me?

as to the wildlife claim......I happen to percieve myself as the victim of her molestation if you don't mind! and if anybody asks it's Roger with two R's and I'm from Florida. everybody straight? are all the girls in Quincy that "friendly"? hee-hee

Ben, nice meeting you, great looking bike and thanks for finding someplace to help me hide all those open beers....hahahahahaha BUUUUUURRRRRRPPPP!!!!!! hahahahahaa

Frank, you won't even be able to post the pictures from the "Mechanical bull" on the NC-17 thread due to their content but you damn sure better scan and E-mail them to the lot of us. two-up, skirt on skirt, facing ea other....and a mechanical bull.......get the picture? Oh, yeah one of the two was wearing a thong-th-thong-thong-thong.......the other forgot hers, oops!

Great seeing Bob and John again, John thinks he's gonna get $20 buck outta me for his predictions on the future offerings from Buell....I hope he's right! it's what the Marque needs! Oh, and Bob, there's got to be a burger on the menu! we're not bimmerphilates, hahaha! Wish you two could have hung out longer. I apologize on behalf of the group for being slow and causing you to lead.....for some reason my helmet fit really tight all day Saturday, and it felt a lot like a milking machine the way my head was throbbing (don't ask me how I know!).
almost forgot.....NICE WINDSHIELD COVER!, pansy!

Keith, tell Jesse and the boys it was a pleasure trolling the backwaters with some professionals for a change! The fishing is always more enjoyable when you're sinking hooks, knocking the bottom out of the boat, and beating 'em with your oar!

Be sure and tell the "Fat Bastard" to do a little more work on his routine, we expect it to be entertaining next time....and with less of the scarring images of bare ass! hahahahaha

Rippin, I called Dave today and left him a message?

To all of you's that didn't make it out to Quincy, let me just say you missed an event of mythical proportions, more thongs than I have fingers to pull on, and some really great riding!
I was way too busy to take any pictures. But it would make a top grossing(out) movie had I had the forethought!

P.S. Heather, anytime you're having your friends over give me a call! I'm only four hours away! Damn shame for all that whip-cream to just sit there!

Sam,
S-A-M !!!!! I think thats how I told here to spell it! ;)

In regards to the Hunting Dog. Heather has always wondered why I let it sleep on the couch in our bedroom. Now you guys know why! If the little redhead and I ever decide to separate that dogs becomes invaluable!} Getting in the freezing cold water to retriever ducks is just a bonus!duck hunting 2002-52

In regards to local law enforcement. I have heard a couple people complain since the rally. They must have REALLY, REALLY been pushing thier luck! Because if someone was going to need thier bail money, I assure you it would have been S-A-M!!!!

molestation?????? how do you figure?? first of all, you were the one that used the now famous pickup line! Plus, how does that explain you trying to work off that big breakfast we all at sunday morning!!

:)

The mechanical bull, one word! PRICELESS!!!!!

Jesse told me the next day he had agreat time also! Your right on the professional thing. He tends to do that every weekend.

The "Fat Bastard" is not going to live down his performance for a very very long time!!!

S-A-M, If heather had to call you everytime her friends got together I'd have to set you up a permanent bedroom in my home! I really live a terrible life in this regards! ;) OH YEAH, I WORKED ON THAT COOL WHIP FOR YOU!!! I couldn't even post it in the NC17 area so check your email!

NOTE: the flattrack races were postponed to 7:30 pm Friday August 22nd. I think the way I am going to work it is; those that were here have first option at the tickets. If there are any remaining then I'll post them up here on a first come first served basis. THINK YOU CAN HANDLE ANOTHER WEEKEND OF DEBAUCHERY??????

Keith

p.s. Sam, you better bring a camera next time! LOL

Rippin and Shazam,
I emailed CP today and he promises to have the video done soon. Probably in a few weeks. He says he is sorry it has taken so long but has not forgotten you guys or ran off with the money.

Shazam, So, what's the deal, are you heading up here for Steamboat Days? Or are you scared of how much nicer the wildlife might be in Iowa? I'm sure Keith never said anything about Gulfport. Tell Jason if he can't get any action in Gulfport then he is a true Girly-boy. Hell, I bet you might even be able to get some action there, just bring Keith's dog.

Sam, I'm glad to see that you are doing the Steamboat Days. I will start warning the wildlife now. It really sucks that I have to work Friday and Saturday, but I will be around for the night time festivities this time.

Hi Everyone,
I just bought my first Buell 2 weeks ago, and the Wednesday night crowd at The Other Place told me to check out this website. The bike is a 1995 Thunderbolt S2 that is stock for now, but I want to add some goodies down the road. Look forward to meeting, and riding with you guys soon.

Frank,

How difficult is it going to be to get parts for a 1976 sportster??? I know this is from the dark years of Harley (AMF) but didn't know thier availability. Shu that was at the street party just inherited one.

Sam,
Yes, Heather did take that photo, LOL

Dave,
Ever been duck hunting. Some days you can have all the decoys out and be calling perfectly and still not get any response from the ducks. But if you can get on live hen (heather) to land in the decoys she will call the rest in and they become easy shooting. Thats my theory on what happened. :) Or it could have been that now famous pickup line they were perfecting!

Neil,
You met up with the right bunch, these guys love riding and have a great time where ever and whatever they are doing. word of advice, hide an extra hundred in the back of your wallet somewhere in case you start riding with that hooligan Sam. (Sam, couldn't resist)

better make it two, Neil.

Glad to see you made it. spend some time wandering around in here it's a GREAT place, with lots of info, and good people, check the knowledge vault, and cool Buell pics as well. they will give you great ideas for your bike and let you become familiar with who some of the people on board are.

Digger,
Well, first of all, I'm "sorry" someone inherited an ironhead ;) hehe. As far as I know you can still get most everything from the motor company. It depends on what he needs though.

Keep in mind that AMF, (even though the product sucked ass for the most part at that time) kept harley alive during "those dark years". Just think....if it wasn't for AMF, we probably wouldn't be chatting on this board right now :)

Frank,
I agree. I was just wondering the availability for parts. I would have taken it in a second. As far as the "dark years" thats what the motor company always calls them. He is extremely excited about this bike. This bike has been sitting for a year. I know to change all the fluids, drain the tank, clean the carb, etc... Any suggestions on things to look for. He has the service manual.

Thanks
Keith

Frank, I need some help. While on a ride, someone told me that I needed to take those baffles out. (you did) Anyway I looked into it and need just a slight bit of enlightenment.

Neill, you have found the place, some of us are a little ways from KC, but we still hang out on occasion (I'm still not cool enough to hang with anybody better). I'm glad to see another S2 in this group. I'm sure you will enjoy that bike.

Sam, what will it cost me to get you to bring a Primary Chain Tensioner with you? And let me warn you now, be very careful of the questions that you and Jason ask here in Iowa. The wildlife here is game for just about anything you can conjure up. Gravedigger has given me the task of being your tour guide in Gulfport. I will make sure that you are in good hands there. Make sure you stop by the bank before you leave, I think you will need to take out a loan for bail funds. HeHe.

Ben

Blaster420,
I told you to take your baffles out??

Keith,
Hmmm...I'd take a look inside his tank. If its full of gas, I would just drain it, and put some of that sweet 93 octane in it. If its half empty or below, it might be rusty inside and require a bit more work. Check the primary chain while he's at it. If it clatters and makes a bunch of noise after he starts it up, he may have to adjust his pushrods as well. That's a few things I'd check for right off the top of my head. It's hard to know what else it needs without seeing the bike ;)

Frank, Yeah, while on one of our ride you told me that I need to get them baffles out? Unless you meant the ones in my head? Well I tore into the Supertrap and I kinda thought that the discs were the baffles? It is a cone type with the Open end Closed course tip. (I would love to find a turn down for that). TFTC lol.

Thanks Frank,

I have allready been down that road with gas tanks. I am guessing we are going to have to put in a new tank liner on that old of a bike. I could be wrong though. I am going to go take my first look at this thing in a bit. I'll have a better idea of where it stands from that point. thansk for the primary chain suggestion. I probably would have overlooked that important detail.
