We are starting to get some interest for this weekend. Nuts - Ferris will not know until Friday if he can join us. I will be riding both Saturday and Sunday, so let me know what you can do. Luv - My brothers and I would use pellet guns to hunt squirrels. My brother had an old Craftsman that shot a .177 grain pellet through 3/4" plywood. The good thing about a pellet gun is you can drop a squirrel without scaring all the other ones away. | ||

Jackie, As far as TPS resets... The ECMspy on the Palm is non-invasive to the bike. That means it only reads the info on the ECM, it cannot write new maps. It can reset the TPS and AFV though, and show the values for everything. I'll show you on my bike, but I'll bring the VDSTDSLUT cable also. On another note, I'll likely show in front of the turtle palace on Thursday around 10:30-11am. I'll need to drag the Buell out and make her legal for another day. Don't shoot the dude in the street working on his bike, please. | ||

And there's more... Got some video today. It was pretty bad. Mounted the cam to the gps mount, and it was like looking in a rear-view on the Buell. Vibration was very evident. Not bad for the first try. I may have to go with a helmet mount of some invention, because the only non-vibrant spot on the Buell is the front wheel/fender.(I might!) | ||

I have to give credit... ..to I don't know who.. ..but the best XB video I have seen was somehow mounted to the front wheel. I'm going for a fender bolt mount. | ||

Tank, Me and Jason got infested with chiggers today while squirrel hunting. Literally thousands of them! Tomorrow the rash will hit and last for a few days so we should be all healed up for Thursday. If not we will be stopping every mile or two to do some serious scratching . Its supposed to cool off which will make for a VERY pleasurable D/S ride. See ya' in a few days sucka'  | ||

Jackie, Don't know what you use for chiggers, but finger nail polish works great for me. Put it on before you go to bed and when you get up peel it off. No itch at night and chigger gone in the am......Charlie PS. I use clear, but you guys, well accessorizes I guess is the term... | ||

Well as usual (scratch, scratch) Nuts comes out unscathed. I ended up with hundreds of (scratch, scratch) bites and he doesn't have a single bump. I guess he is impervious to all that Mother Nature can (scratch, scratch) throw at him. Charlie, Tank will be here in just a few short days. I gotta ask, are you envious of the fun times that lay ahead ? SSCCRRAATTCCHH!!!!!! | ||

I'll gladly trade your chiggers.. For one hell of a sinus infection. Summer colds suck. I think I had a fever at one point, but I pressed on. The Buell is prepped for the track. The DR is still hard to start cold. But once running, Angie begs for full throttle action. It's difficult not to totally tear up the driveway. I moved the camera to the bottom fender bolt, hammered out a bracket, and it works fantastic! It's still a total PIA to hook it all up, though. The front tire is in the left 1/10 of the screen all the time, but I think it adds to the ride. The Jeep needs a bath and a wipedown on the inside. Barney(trailer) needs a bath too, but I might say f-it. After a good wipe-down on the Buell, Mom even said "dang, it sure is shiney". I have a secret cleaning agent that takes bugs off with no problem. It started out as window tint lube. It's a squirt bottle with water, mixed with 5% Johnsons baby shampoo.(I'm not joking) I feel like junk right now, and I will not take meds when I ride.(I will suffer first) | ||
