Derek, Matt, Brad, Tiburon, etc, I regret to inform that I'm out of the Dragon adventure. My planned week off has been denied due to other pressing business matters.
I have a two place Kendon (knock off) trailer that youz guyz are welcome to use for the week. Just let me know if you want to use it.

Shobe, I found a couple of tracks in western Michigan that have a couple of courses(classes) coming up, one in Sept and one in Oct. Its actually cheaper than the one I just did. The course is put on by the North East Sport Bike Association or NESBA. I'm definitely doing one or both now that I'm not going to the Dragon. I'm also 80% sure I'm going back to Nelson Ledges on August 31st. Its kind of expensive, but I joined the club so I'll probably say "WTF"...The Michigan classes are actually on Saturdays... Check it out.

Thanks for the info Speedyiii, I'll check it out. Sorry about the vacation denial, but I'm sure there will be other trips. I was actually just up by the cruise, but couldn't actually go. My lil sis just got married at the Westin off of M10 and had to go help haul all of the crap they took to hold it there back to the parents house. Saw lots of cool cars on Southfield heading that direction though. Have fun and thanks again forthe info. I'll be checkin it out! |

I'm signed up for Sunday, September 23rd at Gingerman in South Haven. This is in lieu of going to the dragon. (Got to go to Mexico). It cost $205 including the one year NESBA membership fee. Come on xb12rdude, shobe, others...http://www.nesba.com If you don't have leathers, you can rent them.

Nice riding in the cruise with you yesterday Jim, just my bike didn't like the very slow moving traffic on Woodward. My fan just about unbolted itself from my XB and jumped in a near by puddle to cool off from running so long. |

toledospeedyiii. I might take you up on the trailer if i can get another friend to go. It looks like only 6 people are going so far and if Brad can't make it there will be only 5. Still have room for 3 or 4 more. |

Hey guys, anyone wanting an XB mines for sale. If you know of anyone let me know. I'll probably get a new bike next year, but need to sell my now. I will let it go for pretty cheap compared to what I have invested. Looking to get close to 6K if possible.
Bike has never been down and is in awesome shape. It has 5,900 miles on the odometer. Of course it has some minor scratches and such for a 2-year-old bike. I have oil change receipts for every 500 miles with Full Syn Mobil One oil. There are to many extras to mention but I'll try. Full Buell Race Kit (Pipe, ECM & Filter, I still have the original parts also), Integrated LED taillight, Front LED shorty blinkers, Scott’s Billet oil filter, Frame pucks, Front and Rear billet axle sliders, Right Side air scoop, LSL steering damper, tail bag, ect…. It has well over 2K in mods. |

Gonna save up for a new one I think, plus just found out a friend we've rode with for years killed himself yesterday over a stinking divorce. That combined with on a another good month of riding, thought I would move it before winter comes. |

That looks sweet. I'll see how I do on the track Friday b4 I decide to get a track bike. If I have as much fun as I did the first time, I'll probably buy one on my way home....
BTW Derek, what's up with taking one lap around Belle Isle and scooting home? Have a hot date or somethin? I thought we'd stop for a minute...

Yeah, I figured we'd go over to Hockeytown or something to have a drink, but it didn't work out that way. I didn't plan on riding out there to turn around a ride right back. Oh well. |
