Kenny - welcome to C3! Check out the Adventure folder and see what C3 is up to for the next 9 months or so. You may be able to hook up with a few that live around Raleigh. Some also try and go to Michael's in Chapel Hill on Sunday mornings. |

I saw a small band of Buell riders cruising through downtown Cary on Thursday evening around 6:30pm. These are the 1st I've seen since obtaining my Buell XB9 Citicross 2 months ago. The next time you are in my neighborhood, please stop in and say hello. I'll be happy to treat you to a free soda. I own the drugstore at the corner of Chatham and Academy Streets. Paul Ashworth |

Some of the locals will be up there tomorrow. We are scouting for some good stopping points in Sanford for our Benefit ride. Leaving Southern Pines about 930/10 gonna back road it all the way, so we should be at Michaels @11ish. Call me on the cell if you decide to come. |

U4 - I'll run up there if I get a chance. I've still got kids, so I'm not sure if I can make it or not. |

Found some interesting pictures while surfing recently. I had to share them with someone. Here are the ones that I can share on a G-rated forum...
Hopefully someone will appreciate 'em, 1313 |

Well tranny detent clip went out again...the Harley part sucked, got an aftermarket replacement seems alot better! But also got a bad aftermarket gasket so while buttoning it up started pouring out the crap gasket, teach me to try to go with the cheap overseas crap, so I am down till tuesday night after I go to the dealer and they rob me for a primary cover gasket and a shifter shaft seal. |

Mark - That sucks! I have to get seals for the M2 to get it up and going. I want to have the oil leaks fixed before Buelltoberfest in first weekend of October. Dfishman - My father-in-laws place in the mountains is just down the road. I am riding up there this coming weekend and heading north from there. I ride up there from time to time so who knows. |

Hey Jlnance, M2nc and the rest of you guys (and gals). I rode the roads from Lebanon, VA to Davenport, VA and hit RT 80 and rode it back to Meadowview, VA. A really nice ride, (i did it sunday ranging from 7:30am to about 9:30) very little traffic, and about the perfect temp. anyway, the first road (rt 62) starts out nice with good elevation changes some nice sweepers and twisties but after you get to Carbo, Va and switch roads and then the further you go the worse the road gets (broken and cracked pavement, gravel, pieces of coal, etc.) during the week would be bad because of the coal truck traffic. Rt 80. though, was fantastic and has some incrediblibly tight and twisty roads with great scenery and surroundings. i have to work on the pics because their file size is to large to upload. |

Xbrad - Thanks for the report, thats great to know. I'm gonna try and get back up to Virginia soon. U4 - I'm glad you got him taken care of. Sportymark lost a clip in his transmission and I followed him home, so I was busy too. |

Uly2006, The only way to improve that particular loop is to get on old 18 (first right hand turn option past Broughton as you're south bound on 181.) Old 18 is a nice little bit of twisty and will bring you out near South Mountain. If we're taking off on 321 we jump on at Startown,,,,that has to be close to you |

Bigdaddy-Actually I'm exactly 2 miles past the bridge if thats close enough. I thought about taking 18 on out and coming back on 27 but I had some things to get done that afternoon and wanted to make sure I had time to do them. I'll probably ride it backwards next time and take 27 to 18 and so on. -I was amazed sat. as I watched bicycle after bicycle climb 181 north. I have to respect those men and women. That takes alot of juice. |
