Yep, that would be me. I work down here in the oil field industry now, servicing rigs. I retired out of the Marines. We actually have a few good little roads down here and I got to ride one of them this past weekend, Hwy 2, south of Wilburton. I'm going to make the loop one day, taking 82 south at Red Oak and loop around to Hwy 2, then head back home to McAlester. I don't get a lot of time off to ride and I'm lucky there are a few decent roads close by. |

Well fellas, We have been promoted to the top of the page , if case you have not noticed. Since all of us are not particularly from Tulsa, do we maybe want to change our name to something that encompasses more then just one city? Possibly something that pertains to all of Oklahoma? I am open to suggestions. |

Drake, Thanks for posting the pics,I was hoping for the pic of Duff doing a 12oclock wheelie by me just out of turn 8 at 70 mph (man he shure has talent). Hey it's pretty cool that Blake moved us up on the board. I vote Tulsa, or a derivative of Tulsa. Brian. (Message edited by b_bueller on July 23, 2007) |

Being at the top of the board is a good thing; I can find it without glasses You guys looked good on the track; I have to try it next time. Went out to the Biker Boyz thing last weekend; guy stunting a Triumph Rocket 700+ lb!!! That was the best part of the day for me |

Smoke, Tim, thanks for helping with my suspension settings and all other questions about racing. I was glad to see another young guy out there racing Buells. Post up when you come back out to Hallett, I'll bring some more Budweiser cans for your bike. Brian. |

Hello Tulsa Riders!I'm a proud owner of a 2005 xb12 scg lightning.I am always up and down Riverside Drive on my black beauty. My name is Les.I hope some of you guys will be sure to look for me.Do any of you all ever just get together and admire one anothers bikes? You know maybe drink a pop or some coffee?I love talking 2 wheelers.Anyway I really do not do much aggressive driving but I do like riding the country roads surrounding Tulsa. When my wife allows! (haha)I hope to see you on the road.Motor safely. |

We grt together from time to time. I am pretty easy to coax into a ride. I have shyed away from Brookside, Mayor Kathy Taylor has TPD handing out "Loud Muffler" tickets hand over fist, me and three other guys all got one at one time. But, other than that sure! Welcome on board Les. Later, Jason |

Jason, What kind of muffler does your bike have.I really do not think mine is that loud.I also know that if the TPD wants to write tickets we have to accept that.Make no mistake about it though.I ride Riverside Drive because it is convenient.I also like riding at 40 mph,I guess I am kinda a chicken.I do not like riding Brookside because of all the white collars riding around on them Harley's.Not to mention all the bars and consumption of liquor. Thanks for the welcome note.See you out there somewhere.Just look for a skinny guy in plain clothes looking like I am lost.(haha) Peace......... |

Welcome Les! I think I have seen you around a few times. Where you going down Garnett a few days ago? I will organize a ride once I get back on two wheels. My bike is getting some motor attention after a track day I had at Hallett a few weeks ago. Drake |

Welcome Les. A XB12cg, right? You wouldn't happen to be riding on Riverside this last sunday around 5-6pm. I waved to someone headed southbound and at the last couple seconds I saw is was a Buell. Mirrors on the bar ends? You, not you? |

Dear fellow riders,(Drake and Eagleez8) Yes to the both of you.I work at 51st and 129th E ave.So Drake I am sure that it was me you saw.I work early and lunch at noon or so, usually around 41st and Garnett.Flag me down next time and I will tell you a few lies.Eagleez8,yes I saw you recognize me as a Bueller on Riverside.I saw your Buell as well.I very rarely am on a mission so next time I see you I will try to turn around and say a personal hello.I live due west of downtown so I ride Riverside to Jenks alot.I really appreciate you guys saying welcome to me on this cool website.I am not much on clubs,I used to have a nice old fj40 Toyota Landcruiser and I went to a club meeting once and it sucked.Everyone just sat inside a restaurant and talked about money they were gonna spend on their rigs.Maybe sometime I can meet up with all of you good people and we can laugh at all the Harley yuppies driving by.Just kidding........Seriously if you see me, flag me down and we can stop by a QT and swap stories and have a soda.Everyone out there have a great day and motor safely.Peace........ |

Hey les, why would we laugh at the Harley guys? We are Harley, but with a sportbike edge. I personally think we should meet up every Friday night, somewhere. Just too meet and more importantly... RIDE! If anyone else agrees lets chat. |

Mr.Eagleez8, I was only joking about laughing at the Harley guys.We can laugh at the types that do not acknowledge Buell's as a Harley product.I guess I just need someone to laugh at besides myself. Meeting up somewhere Friday(tomorrow) sounds cool.I work Mon thru Friday 5am until 2pm so I am get tired early on.Plus I am an old fart(40)But I will check in tomorrow morning to see if you guys are gonna meet up somewhere and I will try to be there also.I am up for a 30 or 40 mi trip maybe.I am a scaredy cat though,so I must worn you I do not ride very fast or aggressive.I definitely would like to meet and greet with you fellows.Afterall we almost could have shook hands on Riverside last weekend.I forgot to answer your question about bar ends.Yes my bike has them. And yes it is an SCG.Anyway,my work day is almost done here.I am getting ready to head westward.I hope to see on two wheels real soon.Best regards,Lesley |
