Looks like I should have put fuel stabilizer in the truck and the lightning. I'll be flying home for next weekend, then I'll probably be here until I go on my cross country vacation at the end of August. I ended up scheduling service so I can leave my bike at the dealer (Gail's HD) while I fly home. I asked how long it would take for a 5000 mile service and new tires - 3 to 5 hours! That's a big change from Detroit HD. They even have a wall full of shirts and hats.

I was going to try to make the meeting today but unfortunately I was riding the loop in Pinckney longer than I thought. Hopefully next time. Now that I have a bit more appropriate bike, might be able to make some rides too.

Yeah sorry I couldnt make it out to the meeting today. I had to go to a first communion thing. I was told "you can do what you want" to which I decided to go with her to the communion instead of getting bitch*^& later.

So my bike is overdue on its 1k service. The American HD dealership wants to charge me 250 + for what I think is a supped up oil change. Should I just give them the money? Anyone (Spidey) want to do it for less?

Picked up a 2003 Suzuki SV1000sk. Lovin the bike. Big change from my VTX but fun as hell.

I left Pinckney around 12:45. Too bad I missed you guys. Wasn't done riding, but everyone I was with was.

I'm riding down Saturday morning and coming back Sunday after the Superbike race, which starts at 3:00 PM. My friend Chris, who rides the Ducati, is riding with me. We're staying at the Comfort Inn in Mansfield, which is 15 minutes from the track. Let me know if anybody else wants to go.
