I was thinking of doing a ride for a New Bedford firefighter that died on his bike earlier this year. Ride starts at 11 at Staples in Raynham and ends at Knucklehead's in NB. Anyone want to go with me? |

there is a run outta taunton for rich mulcahy @ 11 leaving from the weir, and one in acushnet leaving from the ponderosa. i dunno, ima lay my head back down for another hour, i'll check back in case anyone wants to ride today! |

Just woke up...Dang that was ALOT of wine to be drinking last night... ..that stuff makes ya all gigly inside...
I will cruise the Thompson area and get a java at the bean OR Rt .2 has been calling my name lately, this may also be a good ride...

i'm just headed to breakfast @samanthas on rte 6 in fairhaven then i'm up for whatever for a couple hours anyway, if i don't hear from anyone i'll be headed to the fairhaven bike show my # is 508-717-4536
greg, pleased to meet you, i used to attend the brag meetings out of sheldons, i've had the pleasure of meeting damnut, and firebolt eric @ HHII (plus jim drops by my store on occaission)otherwise i've been so damb busy i have'nt been able to make any of the rides youz have gone on, ima try and give it a little more effort in the future! |

sorry guys I looked again and that ride is next weekend. I'm leaving for Ireland again today and coming back on Thursday. I was going to stay the week but I got to be back for Friday. Gonna find out if the kid has a penis or not............

Hey guys...sorry I've been out of the discussions this weekend...b-day yesterday and at my parents today.
Damnut...do you have a number for the hotel? I'm thinking of heading out there on Friday night instead of Sunday. Don't know for sure yet, just thinking about it. Will you be able to head out on Friday since you'll be home from Ireland? My thought is more relaxing time after hours of straight riding on the highway and more twisties on Saturday and Sunday.
Nate...are you still coming?
Greg...pay your own way if you must but definately come this weekend...I'll help front any other money you need for the weekend and you can pay it back latter - I know where you live...it'll be more worth the trip if we have a group so get packed and lets go.
Eric - I should be taking the wheels off tomorrow as soon as I get home from work. Any day this week would be GREATLY apreciated...especially since I'm heading to NY and my back tire is getting scary bald! |

I have to head up on Saturday. We are finding out what we are having for a kid on Friday and I'll be with her the rest of the day. I gotta go with her to register at Babies R Us after the dr's appointment.

hey congrats jim!!
my brother and i ended up tearin up the streets of fairhaven, new bedford and acushnet yesterday, we had a blast. checked out that bike show, pretty cool. it was soooo nice to get out with the bike for a change, i finally traced my electrical problem back to the damb clutch switch!! i just replaced that bad boy a month ago imagine that, never again, i jumped it permanently!! and my kick stand too for justin! |

Here is where we are staying: Country Side Motel Route 9, Exit 13 off I-84, Philipstown NY, 10516, Telephone: (845) 265-2090. I just called (didn't book yet), the rooms are $69/night.
Who's going: Jim and I are definite, Greg is a maybe, Eric is meeting us on Sunday on the top of Bear Mountain.
I'm heading out Friday night with the bike on my trailer - I don't know if I can fit a second bike or not. I'll donate the truck if somebody else has a bigger trailer. Jim is riding out first thing Saturday morning. Eric is riding out Sunday morning. Greg hasn't comited yet.
Jim - have you booked your room yet? If not, you want me to book it for you when I call? |

I FINALLY have my new tires on. Thanks Eric - had a good time hanging out with ya last night!
Now to get home today to put the wheels on the bike, do the brake pads and go for a test ride before NY.
Hey Scotty...if you're free on Sunday...ride out with Eric and complain about being saddle sore on Monday... |

Oh yeah...my test ride tonight is heading to bike night in Lowell. Hopefully meeting up with Scott_in_NH.
Anybody else up for a trip tonight?
I probably won't be ready to leave my place until 5:30-6:00 - I envision a battle to get my front caliper back on...it took me forever to get just one of the screws out of it last night. I was afraid that it was cross threaded into the bike when assembled but then I found out some dope had used half a bottle of loctite on the bolt... |
