Buellpastor,

I leave my house at 7:00 to get to the Lakeland HD shop for the Saturday rides. I live just south of downtown Orlando.

Also, a group of us try and meet Wed. nights at Barnie's Coffee shop in Baldwin Park at 7:30 or so. Watch this thread for updates before heading there as we don't meet every week these days.

Again I come with apologies for missing the last several get gatherings. My employer seems to think I was built for the road! I was but not in that fashion, lol!!

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend on the 11th. I'm on the road (still) and expect to get back home by sometime on the 14th.

Hi, I moved to Florida in February and due to all kinds of different problems, I have yet to make a ride. We have run into some major financial issues that we are still dealing with(need a job badly, if any of you know of one). And my kids medical problems have just killed my riding.

And the fact is I killed my own riding about a month ago. I was already down to 1 key as my wife lost the extra with her keys a year ago. Well in the process of cleaning out the garage I lost the extra. So I finally figured out that Ridge HD wasn't that far away, So I ordered keys with the VIN. Picked them up, was busy thinking what I needed to do, new plugs, TPS reset(running real bad-won't run on its on when cold). So I thought I could get to this ride. Wrong, Keys don't fit. So with some great help from Court, I talk to customer service, and I have to get the bike to Ridge so they can look at things and find out if the key info was entered wrong at the factory. And if so they will fix it, if not (and I am the original owner, no changes that I know of) I have to pay(see above for financial info). The dealer was nice and customer service was nice, just at a loss as to what to do...So hopefully next month I will be there for your ride. Larry

We don't ride on Wednesday evenings. We just sit around and chew the fat.

Hi, Sorry I didnt make it. I live in Poinciana so it is a long drive and I have no extra gas money. Buell is taking care of my bike as I guess they have run into this before and they are going above and beyond to take care of me. I Love my bike and hope I can get busy working so I can keep it. I stopped for gas in Orlando maybe 5 miles from my house and my bike leans WAY over on the side stand. I had the ULY side stand recalled performed in Sept at Seminole HD/Buell (not the stand alone shop). I get home and check it out. The stand was fine but both bolts had backed out and the front bolt was bent from the increased torque of the loose stand. I removed my pipe and replaced the bolts. There was NO threadlocker on the ones from the recall. Keep an eye on those XB side stand bolts (at least '06 ULY recall ones).

I am looking for a shop to get a bike painted? Anyone have any suggestions? I could go with basic paint or something a little extra in special paint, haven't decided, not looking for airbrush or anything.

I am between Lakeland and Orlando, but anything within 100 miles is ok with me, just looking for good work at a fair price for tank, tail, front fender, small fairing, maybe a belly pan.
