Looks like it may rain later, I don't think there's gonna be too many out ridin. We were out at fuel last nite as it was sportbike nite. Matt, hallett is in oklahoma, I'm sure drake (dtx) knows right where its at. Also, a few of us went last year but the biker boyz weekend is next week if anybody's interested in riding down to tulsa again? | ||

Oklahoma? This board has quite a range. What's KCLW stand for anyway? I also saw the KC MOB thread, but it looks pretty slow. A sportbike night sounds good (maybe I'll pull the bags off the Uly to blend in). Looks like it'll be long hours in the plant for while, so I'll try to catch a bike night somewhere later. KCLW = Kansas City's Least Wanted Thursday is cruiser night at Fuel. Not a bad time usually. Lots of drunk 40-something females in small clothes as I remember it. | ||

Duff, So you are thinking of coming to Hallett this weekend? Last I head from Cycle Connection is that there is still plenty of space left for the track day. Matt, Yup, those KC guys consider Oklahoma "in the neighborhood". Last year they showed up at my house to check out the new Bass Pro shop in Tulsa. They took pictures of a sleeping customer to prove it too. | ||

Hey Matt this board has probably been pretty slow since most of the people around here are pretty busy. So I'm thinking of getting a new toy, but it isn't a buell and has no wheels but is turbocharged. What ever could it be? Oh Sam I was at Bass Pro the other day and Sig Arms has a really sweet 22lr semi auto but they want $400 or $500 for it. Made me get all excited before I saw the price, looks really similar to the p229. Dave and Kandie are you two still coming the end of this month and do we have anything planned or in the planning such as a BBQ/Strippers????? Oh sorry I was just thinking to myself. On another note I start my new gig on the 23rd so only a week of being jobless. | ||

Strippers! Did someone say strippers? Tim, what are you looking at buying now? Duff and Sam, I think I will have to say no thanks on the OK trip first i would hate to have to show you both up on the track with the chop. Second it was such a comfortable ride back last I just dont think i could handle that much relaxing. I have finally had some time to start looking at the bike figure out what is wrong with the charging system, hopefully get it narrowed down this weekend and maybe even fixed. Matt, Take a good look at the connector between the VR and the stator. Mine had a socket that had rounded itself out and caused an intermittent battery sucking condition. I had to perform an episiotomic reversal on the female socket with a pair of needle-nose. Well, Duff and I had a good time at Hallett yesterday. Let me tell ya...I was real impressed with Dustin's first track day. His best laps were 1:35, which warrants being in a higher class. Next time we will sign up for the Street Class. The rules at Hallett are pretty relaxed, so they let you wheelie whenever you want, as long as there is no traffic around. Duff took full advantage! | ||
