Are they going to sell a plate to cover the screw holes after you remove the number plates from the tail?

Otherwise, that looks like a great bike......

Not necessary . . . bolts into passenger peg holes.

Great steaks last night, I am glad I was at the last BRAG meeting and got to see everyone and enjoy that steak. Merry Christmas everyone.

Thanks to Chris for his energy in keeping it going.

Thanks to Sam we will continue without Buells help and have more great rides and times together, I am sure as time gets closer and weather starts to warm up Sam or someone will post some info on what is to come. Yes that was the last BRAG meeting but we may go back to things were before Buell detoured us to Gails and have our own riders club. I am suprised that Farris hasn't posted some info but as discussed if you have a curent BRAG membership you can participate along in the HOG club and or may join one of the many HOG clubs that are here in town. Each dealer has a HOG club that has its own events and rides. So you can pick your favorite dealer and join in with them and or us as we start a new year and new path. I don't know if Buell will have any more events such as home coming or any other events but I doubt it from what information we have been told.

Sorry I missed it, but I was working. So does this mean no more steaks?

I couldn't care less about BRAG or lack thereof. I just liked hanging out with everybody, talking bikes, and eating steak. My next bike will probably be a BMW anyway.

Just a note to all, Gail's HD & Buell was named Buell Dealer of the Year for our district. We've got a trophy signed by Eric, that I hope to get on display in the customer lounge. We're getting better, but couldn't do it without you.
Thanks

Chris Sylva

P.S. I don't know about anyone else but March sounds like a good time for dinner with Buell friends. Let me know
(to answer the unasked question, there are 5 dealers in our district)

cool! What was the criteria? Sales?

I think y'all ought to give a Ulysses away to celebrate. (to me of course - I need a bike that leans more than the one I have)

I went with a Triumph..

I just got back from a screening of Wild Hogs.

It is fun movie if you don't take it seriously. The ending was a tad lame. (How they got out of being killed.) A couple of good riding shots.

There is a bit of overacting. W.H. Macy was the best actor of the bunch, although he did say "I only ride a Sportster". But it was in character.

Don't jump out of your seat the second the credits start (hint).

Several lines out of the trailer never made it into the movie.

I found it enjoyable and fun. Probably more funny for people who ride, than those who don't.

Additionally, my wife enjoyed it.

It will probably sell a few thousand Harleys, and some leather gear. I hope MY road trip this summer doesn't get overrun by all the newbies that saw this movie and want to feel "free".

Gents,

Just bought a 06 Lightning and figured I would intro myself. My name is Jesse and I live in olathe, got two kids and this is my first fairly new bike. I have four 75 Honda CB550's but they are pretty much projects at this point. My fav bike is a norton manx......

OOO sorry spaced off think about the manx. I am pretty new to riding so I dont have any good bragging stories, cool back roads or skills to talk about. Im still working on becoming a member of the TON club : D Other then that I just want to rack on miles in hopes to improve my ability.

Hey Jess,

There are a bunch of Buell riders in Olathe and the surrounding areas. Definately try to hook up with them. They are some of the best people I have ever met. They will show you the ropes, as they were the ones that broke me into riding as well. Have fun.

I miss riding with all those guys!

We still have quite a few of the Buell stocking hats in stock. Print the coupon off the Buell site, bring it in, get your hat. Nice and thin so it fits inside a jacket.

Lee, from the photos it looks like you are multi-postal.

Next time you come across one of those fresh or even not so fresh armadillos don't think of it as road kill...This about it as Arkansas's equivalent to a Maine lobster that's been boiled and cracked open for your dining pleasure.

Please visit www.wadeboyd.com and sign the petition for Wade to ride this year.

Wade Boyd began riding the Isle of Man TT Race in 1992, after our friend Christopher Crew passed away.
Chris rode as the only American in 1989, 1990 & 1991. Before Chris, Wade's dad Bill Boyd rode.
Bill was the first to ride in colored leathers (the Brits can be fond of conformity.)
Wade rode the IOM TT in respect for Chris.
Chris rode fast everywhere he could, in England, in Mexico, in Guatemala.

Wade has been riding the IOM TT as a privateer for 14 years. This year is the Centennial and the organizers
are going for corporate money, excluding privateers.

I've written a letter to the Lieutenant Governaor of IOM and the former Lieutenant Governaor of IOM,
a personal friend of the Boyd family. Also, Mayor Gavin Newsom of San Francisco will issue a
Certificate of Honor to Wade and I will send copies to the Lieutenant Governors of IOM.

Bottom line, the race organizers are wrong, destroying or ignoring the tradition of privateers -- which
built this race to begin with.

Please sign the petition on Wade's website www.wadeboyd.com.

Thank you for your support!!!!

WE NEED SOME HELP! This year we are having Buell® Demo Days not once but twice and extending both to a Friday and Saturday. The first one is coming up Friday May 11 and Saturday May 12. We have volunteers for registration but need four or five riders to lead/follow the group of riders. We have a ten-mile course that they will be riding and if you would like, you can ride a Buell®. Please let me know by noon tomorrow if you can help either or both days. Both days are from 10am until 3pm. Please RSVP.

Well its Buell Homecoming time again this year.I have been to every homecoming since 2001,and its always a blast.Lots of cool bikes, lots of really neat people. My bro and I are riding up this year,he wants to ride his new bike, and we are not going to have time to skydive at Chicago and Racine like we usually do the last couple of years. We are leaving july 5 early am and will be arriving back here july 9 pm.So if you havent ever been to a Buell homecoming, you need to go,if not with us,just try to make it,it will be a time you wont forget.
