Is yours black and white though? Someone told me they saw the same one but the B&W around here. Icon helmets run a bit small and the ventilation system is crap, but it does match the bike : )

Welcome new C3'ers! Glad to see the Raleigh contingent grow. We are a state wide group. We plan a few major rides a year and don't plan many smaller rides all over the state. Do not be shy to jump in when you want. The impromptu rides to me are the best. So welcome aboard and hope to meet everyone on the road.

I ordered the Buell helmet. And yes they do run small. I needed a medium for the kids and wife anyway.
I bought a HD silver/grey eagle helmet at the dealer when I picked up my Buell. Goes very well with my Buell mesh jacket.
The mesh is a wicked awesome jacket. The liner kept the cool morning air from chilling me to the bone. Took it out for the afternoon return trip.

I have two children. My daughter won't ride with me for 4 to 6 weeks. She just had knee surgery to repair a dislocated knee cap and damage from the impact that dislocated it.

Took my son for a short ride. He is still learning how to be a passenger without straining my neck. He is 13 and already 5'11". His first Buell might have to be a Uly at the rate he is growing.

Fishgutz welcome to . Where did you get your Buell jacket? I am needing a new mesh and want to see one and not order sight unseen.I think Joe Rocket makes them now and thats what I now have.

I ordered it at HD Greensboro. Since I am Extra fat I ordered the 2XL. Nice fit.
Armored in all the right places. Liner is nice for cool mornings.
Nice without liner from 65 on up. Today in the 80's. No sweat.
Not sure if Rockets makes it for Buell.
If I had $450 I'd get the 3 in 1 multi venting HD leather. That is a sweet jacket.

Hi all - Jimmy from Fuquay Varina. Riding an '07 XB12X that I bought in March with 37 miles on it. It was a carry over that never sold in Smithfield. Look forward to riding with some other Buells as I normally ride with NC Sportbikes and always look a bit out of place.

Jimmy, do you ever ride through Lillington? I saw a Uly going down 27 about a week ago but couldnt tell the year/model/color because it was dusk. If you ever want to ride around here, shoot me an email. I only live about 15 minutes from you.
