I will be out flying this evening after work if anyone is interested. Most likely at Columbia Village, depends on the wind.

Hey guys obviously memorial weekend is here and I am going to easily surpass the 1000 mile mark on the new bike. So Bill and or Mike if there is a good time that I can take you up on the offer to help me out with servicing the bike let me know. Changing the engine oil I have done but never the tranny oil. I also wouldn't have the slightest clue as to what I was doing when it comes time to adjusting clutch cables or primary chains.............like I said, I just know how to ride the things not work on them. Anyways I have most every evening during the week free to be able to do the work and anytime on the weekends.

Thanks again for offering to help out.

P.S. Also, let me know what your favorite beer to drink or place to eat at is and i will be sure to make the help worth your while because its either $72 hour to HDHD or compensate someone more appreciative if you know what I mean.

Thanks,
Jeremy

For anyone interested in a ride Saturday morning...a few of us at BVR have a couple ride options planned. Dan Cone (red Hyabusa) and I have a route planned to Lewiston for an overnighter there. Our wives, Jessie and Jocelyn will be in a chase vehicle. They ride but don't want to try and keep up with Dan and I on their VStar 1100's. The other ride is a tag along until you're ready to head back. This very well may end up being two groups: one slow and one fast.

Basically, We are leaving Meridian Shell at 8AM. If you want to ride with us, be there before hand.

Here are the details:

------------------------------------
Dan Cone:
------------------------------------
Ok here is what I am thinking, anyone willing to go with me.
I am leaving Saturday morning on a killer ride. Not for the faint hearted!

Boise Id to Weiser Id to Cambridge Id to Oxbow Or to Joseph Or to Anatone Or to Asotin Wa to Lewiston ID

Distance 305 miles

Relax take it easy and check out the area.

Sunday take off to Lenore Id to Orofino Id to Pierce Id to Weippe Id to Kamiah Id to Kooskia Id to Grangeville Id to Riggins Id to McCall Id and back to Boise

So if you can keep up and wanna go, lets do this!!!

Distance 353 miles
Total 658

Makes for a nice weekend!!

------------------------------------
Tony Rockwell:
------------------------------------
I am thinking of starting the ride with the "overnighters" that are going on the 600+ mile ride Saturday and Sunday.
I was looking to keep this a relatively short loop...be back home just after lunch or by lunch. Anyone else want to join in?

They have a KSU at 8am, so we will meet and leave with them.
Rough Idea for the loop:
Through Emmett to New Plymouth and on to Payette, then split off and go over to Oregon, maybe just down to Nyssa and back into Boise.

Hey Jeremy, I'm up in Alaska right now. But, like Sam said, I'll be back on the 3rd. If any of your service can wait, I'll be happy to help you out with it. Just let me know.

Thanks for all the support guys. Bill also offered to help me out after the holiday so I am going to get in contact with him this week. After riding Boise>Idaho City>Lowman>Garden Valley>Emmett and back on saturday that put me right at 900 miles So I figure I am pretty much do.

Sam; I will give up the board for $200 with the bindings and half that without them. Also thanks for offering the manual
.

Assuming the weather actually does what is forecasted, I will be planning on riding up to Idaho city and possibly the loop. I have done the loop once this year already and the roads were pretty decent aside from the patches. Im sure since we've had some storming going on conditions will have changed.

Anyway...thats my plan if anyone wants to partake.

I usually just go sometime after my 11 o-clock sushi but if anyone wants to meet up at a certain time thats cool too.

Jeremy, when were you planning on going, Saturday or Sunday?

I was going to go over to the new shop on Saturday for the mini grand-opening. Anyone else planning on checking it out?

I was planning on saturday some time before noon. Sunday is suppose to be back to thunderstorming weather. I dont have to leave at any particular time though. Although I will keep my eye on the weather forecast and if sunday looks like it might change for the better then I am willing to go that day too.

Hey Jeremy, Sorry I can't make the ride this Saturday. I will be volunteering to take a race official (hopefully small) on the back of the Uly at the Spudman Triathlon bike portion starting at 8:30am at Lucky Peak. Afterward I will go check out the new dealership. Have a great ride!

I'm sorry, Mike! We'll catch you on the next one!

I wanted to give you guys the latest news: I received word late last night that the President of the Buell Motor Company will be stopping by High Desert for several hours during our Grand Opening Celebration Saturday, July 21st.

On top of that, a VIP from Harley who is also a Buell racer wants to meet & ride with you guys! (Bill and I can discuss this in further detail as the date draws closer).

Thank you all for your enthusiasm in Buell motorcycles! High Desert is #1 in our district, #1 in our region, and #3 in the nation for Buell sales. It is your guys' enthusiasm and dedication that helps us to succeed and the factory has taken notice. Thank you!
