Yeah traded in my blast for 1400 which i think is a deal since the tranny was shot (they dont know that yet) but they have it and contracts are signed

I got an xb9sx 2007 black. They sold it for 8250 and didnt charge me the shipping fees. I'm going to try and save all the money i can to pay it off asap as the interest rate is out of this world (15 %)

It was pretty cool I saw it come out of the crate and has zero miles, they are going to tune it and i should have it by 2 tomorrow im pretty excited first brand brand new thing for me.

hi everyone! i just bought a buell and after reading this it looks like I should be taking it to Centerline for service. I took it to brighton for service and its taking 2 weeks, is this normal?

Quetip - it's gonna be two weeks *because* the weather is nice, of course. I remember when I took my 2000 Blast to Perry (for the sprocket recall, IIRC) in November 2000. I coulda talked one on one with everybody in the place all afternoon long and they'd have been grateful for the company. OTOH, my Firebolt was in for THREE WEEKS (for what turned out to be a fouled plug) in April 2005.

And no wonder: they could probably run three shifts in the shop during the warm months, and that's just to cover the folks here in lil' ol' Kalamazoo...

Peppwaves03 - Congrats. I love my CityX. I kept it when I bought the Uly even though the service manager wanted to buy it.

Quetip - Detroit HD in Centerline will be slow, too.
Other than the spring delays - which I would think are done now - It usually takes about a week for standard service. They took two weeks when I replaced the tires. At that time the CityX was the only bike that came with scoprions, so that may be better now. After I got my first service on the Uly I found out they missed a recall - turns out there were 2. They did those by appointment in about an hour.
I've never had them troubleshoot a problem to compare to with what you hear about all the other dealers. They did rebuild my Lightning with a replacement frame that didn't lead to any problems.

Spidey sent the ball and chain of yours an email, but I will give you a call Wednesday after shift bid. The wife might be letting me order about $300 dollars of aftermarket parts so I might do that in stead of going to Wisconsin.
