Whats going on Mike. Nice pics, I see you got some new leathers, helmut, and a R tail end. I've been out every chance I get. And boy do I miss Idaho roads. Every thing out here in MN is flat and boring. Some day I'll make it back to go on a couple day ride. Take it easy

Ok, found the Boise section. Anyway I am finally back on a motorcycle after going through divorce and taking some time to get some crap togeter......so I did what any single guy would do that loves two wheels....Bought a brand new Buell...AGAIN!
Anyone that doesnt mind a tag along 12R let me know.....you could say I havent ridden with anyone in a while.....

How about a ride this weekend?

I was probably going to head down to HDHD on Saturday to check out the festivities. So, we can take a jaunt up Bogus afterward, or on Sunday instead if that works better for people. Let me know what you think.

I'm down for whatever gets me on the bike and the bike broke in.......just give me a phone call the day before if possible. Chances are I will ride all weekend long weather permitting so I'm up for anything that keeps the tires rolling and my ass planted on the seat.

Well shit~I just took my new bike with barely over 100 miles on it back to the shop..the thing just doesnt want to stay running after its been ridden a while and wont idle for more that about 15 second before it just dies. SO~hopefully High Desert will have it fixed before the weekend but honestly im not really counting on it so I'm not sure If I will be making it out this weekend or not.......

I am now back in town. Sorry to hear about the problem Jeremy let us know what happens. I will be at the HDHD swap meet this Saturday from 8 to 12 I will have some pipes to show & some other items. Mike,we need get some more flight time & hear about the track day sounds like it was a blast! Tim, call me about doing any service work you need. I am up for a ride Sat afternoon Sunday is Moms day & I will be doing my slave thing. On Sunday May 19th I hear Lowman calling! Chad thanks for making the ride Mo fun! Tony where did you go?

ok i have the bike back....TPS it was, the bike still cant stand sitting in traffic all too well but at least its not dying on me..it did cough up a lung out the airbox once on the way back from the shop though....

Hey Bill I'm still around, I ended up just hanging back with the BVR guys Saturday toward the back of the pack. I'll probably see you guys down at HD Saturday for the swap meet. I've got mothers day chores so I'm not sure if I will be able to make a ride or not yet.

Well I can ride anytime......that is if my bike doesnt act up again. I got my bike back and started having problems with it again. Funny thing is I decided to fill it up with gas and it hasnt had problems since........but if my problem was coming from lack of fuell............shouldnt my low fuel light have come on way before it starts stumbling and dying on me......im totally confused about it....Chances are I am going to know more about it today since I only work half days on fridays so I am going to go out and ride the piss out of the bike and try to see if it acts up again......

Jeremy, try riding it at 3500rpm for about 10 minutes. It helps my bike quite a bit, maybe it will solve your problems. Once you get done with that check the idle when its fully warm, sounds like you might be too low, should be right at 1050. Hope it works.

Ok, so after a week of owning the bike I now have over 400 miles on it and I dont seem to have any problems with it dying on me anymore......who knows...

Ok, I got a question hopefully you guys can help me out before 6pm tonight. I am meeting someone to go out for a motorcycle ride, she is from Nampa. Is there anything remotely fun to ride in that area. The only thing I could think of is maybe a jaunt out to Marsing.......but that doesnt even sound all that great. She is a Gixxer 750 rider/ motor X'r so i would assume she wants to see at least a few good corners......any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The road on the South side of Lake Lowell is one of the better roads in that area that I know of. The pavement is brand new and real smooth. It's a pretty area, for Nampa that is.

Hi Lazyj,

BVR's dinner ride is this evening:

Thursday's BVR Dinner Ride will be to the Brand X in Melba.
1830 - Stage at Meridian Shell (Overland and Meridian Rd)
1850- KSU (kick stands up)

You and your friend should join us. I will be one of the road captains taking the group down there and back. I need to see if the group is interested in taking the long way there or on the way back where we hit Lake Shore Dr. It's 45 miles no freeways from the staging point and around the lake to Melba. If we don't include Lake Shore Dr there will be no twisties.

Look forward to seeing two on the ride...if not, have a great ride tonight.

Thanks for the invite Tnash~I would love to meet up for that ride but the problem is she wont be out of class and back home and ready until about 7-7:30pm Chances are I might take her on the lake shore dr. so there is a chance our paths might cross anyway........

I will definetly be interested in future rides so keep me posted and chances are I will be able to make it since i seem to have a wealth of useless time on my hands these days..
