I have a HUGE PROBLEM!!!! My instructor that was covering my Demo team demonstration on the 2nd Bailed on me.. somethign about his sick wife getting surgery... or some crap..lol joking. anyways is it at all possible for us to push the up north trip back one or two weekend? PLEASE SAY IT IS OK.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I hate owning a buisness......

Ok I just talked to Brad (hardcorps). He wanted to know a headcount of all people going on the trip. SO COUNT OFF!!!

He will still be there the weekend of the 2nd, cause it is his vacation time. but if we post pone it two or one weekend down the road we can all crash @ my parents place. some will have to draw straws for beds, but we have plenty of room on floors for sleeping bags. If you guys can't switch weekends then I sincerly appologise, and will have to meet up w/ you guys at a meeting or something.... Sorry about this guys.. sincerly

I'm in for either weekend but good for only one Sunday off, the Big Kid has a serious knock going on so he may have to ride bitch on the way home...LOL, the Little Kid can't go on the second but could possibly for the later time.

Also a consideration is that there will be a national governors confrence in Traverse City sometime this summer, probably August. I worked there the last time this came around some 20 years ago, and believe me no one will want to be anywhere near TC or that area during that time.

If the general concencious is still the 2nd, that is understandable. I just found out that if we do post pone it will have to be the 9th cause my dad has other plans for the 16th... we can discuss @ the bon fire.. FIRE RULES!! if it is raining then don't worry bout comin out..

newenough.com is where i got my jacket. You can also check out chapparal. There are others, but I have found newenough to be the cheapist. No prob they were just collecting dust in my garage.

It is not a definite thing, but I might be asking some of you to loan your bikes for a display. It will be indoors, and secure. We have talks with buell about some isolators, and I was asked to see if I could get some bikes together for a display if the engineers make a trip out here from east troy. I will give you more info as I receive it.

I am still leaving for up north Friday the 1st and staying until the 3rd. I have five beds (two are full size) two are signles, and one is a couch. There is plenty of space for blow up matress and sleeping bags.

This trip is about riding through the twisty's up north. The cottage we will be staying at is on beautiful Torch Lake, about half a block down from a bar. We can eat out as much as the group wants, Or we can grill and use the cottage kitchen.

I need a count of who is going up on June 1st.

I wont be making the trip upnorth.

Thanks guys. We will take whatever buells we can get for the display. I will let you know when or if it happens. Basically they will be set up in a secure section of my building at work for the buell engineers to see that we are a buell friendly company if they come out for a tour. I dont know what we will be doing for sure, but I am in the noise,vibration and harshness department so that will give you a clue.

I have a HD electric vest. I just went to my dealer since HD always a lot of clothing in stock. I think it's made by Gerbing, so you can probably get the same thing cheaper if you shop around. I just bought the first one I found when I was about to head out on a road trip. I'm happy with it.

It wires up directly to the battery with it's own fuse. I think that's standard for the vests because there's not much chance of leaving it on with the engine off. I run the cable out under the the front of the subframe. It has a round plug like you'll find on the little electronic power supplies. I found an adapter to plug it into my HD battery charger, too. It comes with a simple switch, the thermostat is extra.

We will be basicly the same route up. But if there is an easier place for you to catch up with us on the way up let me know.

I plan on taking 23 North to 75 North then getting off one or two exits past Grayling. Then taking back roads to the cottage.

I will not have the internet next week, because I will be in training for work. So far looks like Swampy and I.

Swampy if I leave my house at 8am, about how long would it take to get to 4mile? How ever long it takes traveling around 80mph is how long it will take to get there.
